As a fan of the show from day 1 its so oddto see other people in the first BB house.

HERE are the snaps that prove Katie Hopkins has always been desperate for telly fame.

They show the loudmouth during a stint in Big Brother 15 years ago before the show's first series aired.

She persuaded producers to let her go in the house for a pilot show alongside a batch of other wannabes.

A show source said: "Katie walked into Celebrity Big Brother last week as though she was new to the experience but in fact she's done it all before."

Controversial Katie has kept her link with the show secret but narrator Marcus Bentley revealed it on Twitter.

Our exclusive photos show she was at home when it came to living – and stripping – in front of the cameras.

I think back in 2000 nobody really expected Big Brother to be a big thing. Very few (if any) of the housemates who went into Big Brother 1 expected to get fame from it. She was in the unaired pilot probably just for a laugh or a bit of money (she would have been 24), not fame. If she wanted fame she would have auditioned for later years like other dummy run "guinea pigs".

Even Big Brother 2, 3 and 4 didn't have the majority of housemates going in seeking fame.

This is not news ,nthe reason she wasn't put through to the apprentice final was that the producers had done their research and found out that she had done the BB pilot as was in it for the fame N,!ick Hewer simply put it ' she's a game player '
