Sony Xperia Z1 Compact vs Z3 Compact
I'm looking to get myself a new phone and have narrowed it down to either the Sony Xperia Z1 Compact or Z3 Compact as I find regular sized phones to be too big, impractical and uncomfortable to use. Looking at online videos it seems that the Z3 may have the edge but it's quite subjective.
Cost isn't that big a deal but obviously the less I have to pay the better, so does anyone have enough experience of both phones to tell me if it's worth paying the extra ten quid a month that the Z3 costs or should I just go with the Z1? |

I think I would echo what sethpet has said, Z3 Compact for those that dont want a phone that is the size of a brick, this is perfect. It has all the benefits of its larger brother, only draw back is screen res, however for a phone like this it matters not.
I was considering this phone for some time, but then went for a Note 4. The battery life on this device is class leading, Sony saw the sense to put in a battery the same size as the HTC One M8 (2600mAh). Due to it not pushing the same amount of pixels and screen lighting, it even operates for longer than some flagships like the S5 or G3. |

Thanks for the responses.
Does anyone know if the Z3 is that much better than the Z1? |

Considering the Z3 compact. What's people's experience of this phone now it's been out for a while? The only issue stopping me going for it is the screen size.

I've had this phone since it came and the screen size is big enough. Really, it's because the phone is 'compact' the screen is not that small, it being 4.6" it's definitely not as small as some out there.
The phone itself is great looking and has a cracking set of high end features such as Digital Noise Cancellation and Hi-Res audio and fast processor, waterproofing etc but right now it's at a good price so it's a bargain buy. A bit of advice though, get a wrist strap or case as it's dead slippy and you'll find it slipping off all kinds of surfaces onto the floor, and you don't want to spoil the great design and quality feel this phone has. Any other questions just ask. |

Thanks. I am coming from a Samsung s3 so the smaller screen may be an issue. I really like its bigger cousin the Z3 but unlike all the other top spec phones the Z3 price has hardly moved since it was released.
