I missed it as well. What did the site look like? Was it the old shades of blue? Can I sue for missing it? Is it safe?

The style sheet was borked or not loading, so everything was difficult to read. (*) You still had the basic colour scheme and the mobile layout was working ok.

ETA. I still think somebody turned it off and on again to fix the problem.

Give me a bit of time here and I'll upload a screen print of what the site looked like.

(*) Well, not everything, but when posts were quoted, for example.

You're welcome, but I just picked that page at random really.

I was hoping that it was some sort of reset that had gone wrong and that the search function would, at last, be fixed.

I was wrong.
Yeah it's still broken. Now and then it'll work but most of the time it won't, and it's annoying.

The search function hasn't been working for a long time and makes the forum unusable when trying to find who quoted you in a thread for example.

This message is particularly annoying 'received zero-sized searchd response'.

We know that. The (internal) forum search function should work, rather than having to rely on an external search engine to do the job for us.

The place has ground to a halt. Have they forgot to feed the hamster again?
