itv Player filesize for a 1 hour programme? (Benidorm)

Does anybody know the (approx) file size of a one hour download from itv Player would be? I want to watch this weeks Benidorm, but am currently on a 3G mobile broadband contract (which admittedly is 10GB per month) but I don't want to waste 10% of my allowance on a single tv show if it's iPlayer sized.

Do you mean ownload from ITV Player - it does not have a download option as such? I assume you mean watch it as it is streamed to you.

Approx size typically will be between 0.5 to 1 GB for a 1 hour program.

ITV Player does not offer the high bitrates seen on the BBC, Netflix or Amazon Prime, so the overall size of their programmes are smaller in general. How small depends on how new they are, as improvements to their encapsulation is present on the more recent shows.

As few programmes on ITV are actually an hour long (since they are made to accommodate commercials) a 50minute drama should consume approx. 410mb, not including the ads.
