I've just been thinking. Since the actual show Big Brother (not BBLB or Big Brother Live) is a summarisation of the previous day, and BBLB is a summarisation of the current day, plus extras, why not combine them both into one show (post-watershed, of course)? Rather than having the day's events at 6pm then at 9pm finding out what happened yesterday (although with CBB it was 11pm CBBLB instead of 6pm).

It could even be 2 essentially the same shows just in 2 bulletins - like one at 9pm and one at 11pm? Or one at 8pm and one at 10pm? This would be the same for eviction nights too when they have the 2 shows.

Nope, I have to disagree. I prefer watching the highlights shows as they are and BBLB wouldnt be the same all joined in, especially if there's an eviction.

That'd mean a live eviction crowd a live BBLB audience and the highlights show all crammed in!

Plus, I love watching BBLB while I have my tea, bliss!

Exactly, I dont think it would work, they'd be pushing for time!

It would be impossible to have it all in the hour and having more than and hour of proper BB everynight for 10weeks + would be annoying!

I think you need to clarify what you mean by combining them - but I do think the highlights shows should be more up to date, with half of the show featuring action from late yesterday and the second half covering earlier today - with the show ending on something like the nominations.

On the other hand though I think it would be in Big Brother's best interested to axe the nightly shows in favour of shows on Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday with the live eviction on Friday.

Therefore, for example Sundays show would cover events on Friday night, Saturday and earlier on Sunday.


BBLB would then bridge the gap between these shows.
