Because in the media she goes out of her way to be controversial, which could lead to language that viewers and other housemates find offensive.

But she doesn't really? The only thing tha should of caused genuine offence was what she said about ebola - the rest were just opinions that weren't very popular.

Can you remember any of her controversial opinions that used language that would get a HM thrown out? Saying something like most fat people are lazy might offend some HMs and viewers, but it wouldn't get anyone thrown out.

Agree - Katie has really surprised me so far, I think we are actually seeing the real her and that all the nasty stuff that she usually says is just for attention.

Why would she need to do anything everyone else is causing controversy without her being involved, I would say she is incredibly clever - just let the others destroy each while she stays under the radar and quietly makes her way into the final.
