Hi,
I have a 16GB iPad mini (owned for about 18 months now) and lately i've been getting a message saying that my storage is almost full. I have about 25-30 apps on the device and when adding up the memory in the 'usage' featuring in 'settings' I come to roughly 3.7GB used in app storage. Now, i'm wondering where this other 10GB storage has been used up?
Secondly, i've been told to check the 'other' folder and plug my ipad into my computer. I've tried this, but my iTunes just comes up with 'Restore your NEW device'. So, I can't remember if I have plugged my iPad into my computer at all. I'm wondering, if I click 'Restore from New', will it lose all the information stored already on my iPad? There is the option to restore it from 14/09/2012 from my iPhone but there will be loads of apps downloaded after this date that I don't want to lose the data from (spreadsheets/docs etc). It won't give me the option to 'back up' my iPad.
Can anyone help?
Thanks.
