its seems rather unfair to suggest as some people are doing in various forums that her over reaction to ken got him removed

That's because people are blaming the 'PC brigade' for everything. People wax on about the 'good old days' where you could say anything....but they never existed.

Ken needs to own his own language and take responsibility for treating people with respect. This is not about being PC, it is about good old fashioned respect for your fellow human, something the older generation should know about, but seemingly not in Ken's case..

I think Ken's only crime was to be stupid enough and misinformed enough to think the point of the show is to destroy each other with insults until the one left standing is declared the winner. He tried to explain that was his motive but nobody listened to him.

The only person responsible for Ken's removal is Ken.

She hounded then goaded him. As one of the others said, he was OK when left alone.

Really do agree with you there.......she never left him alone....following him around.

Like Cheggars said he was happy doing his own thing.

She picked an argument with him knowing what he will say. Then threatened to call the police as looking at arses in her mind is a criminal offence. She's bonkers!

She wanted the police called because he was looking at a woman's arse. She is vile.

No, that was his get-out clause for his natural wankosity. Even when talking to Cheggers in private he couldn't help himself. I think many people like Chloe inside the house and Dsers outside have given him far too much leeway.

I'm not sure what Nadia's motives were and she has not come across well at all but I think (before she went outside anyway) she was giving him a chance to say sorry. A chance his ego refused to take.

She nevertheless had nothing to do with Ken's being kicked out. I find her unbearable - santimonious, humourless, self-righteous - but Ken got kicked out because he failed to abide by the rules and the warning he was given. Nadia, awful as she is, can't be held responsible for Ken's arrogance/stupidity.

And I say this as someone who found him hilarious at times and am pretty disappointed that he's gone.

I like Nadia.
Ken - not so much.

Whether her over reaction and constant goading of Ken got him evicted or not isn't why she's disliked.

She's disliked not only because she seems to think everyone should think like her in regards to what we can say or do but she sees herself as the moral crusader of the house, the mother superior figure....which is annoying in the extreme.

People like her and Perez, who are seeking out offensive behaviour like bloodhounds, are killjoys of shows like this, and we don't need them.

Me too.

Unfortunately Nadia has decided to take up the mothering role and tried to mediate. It's coming across as bossy and far too PC. It's a shame.

There is a very clever combination of characters in there purposely designed to create conflict. Everyone knew that the very un PC Katie was going in and had geared up mentally to challenge it. There's a curious bunch of other opinionated people in there that are stoking the fire.

It really is all over the place IMO.

To be fair, they have had offensive behaviour handed to them on a plate, no need to seek it out, but I take your point..

Perez is somewhat hyper and Nadia is getting a bit too intense. I do like her, but she does need to cool it a bit.

That was a big part of Ken's problem....the reluctance to say sorry. I think if you say something and unintentionally offend someone then most of us say sorry.

Ken comes over as if he said things to intentionally hurt and cause conflict almost to the point of being a catalyst. He admitted himself that he was in there to stir things up. I believe all the things he did and said were purely intentional. It was only going to get worse so he needed to go.

If only Audley Harrison had been in there....

Except the comment that essentially got him thrown out - the "negro" joke - was made during a quiet chat with Cheggers. Nadia had nothing to do with it.

He clearly wasn't "okay when left alone". He started having a go at Patsy in the garden for no good reason. Nothing to do with Nadia and neither was the reason he was rightly ejected.
