As a fan I would love for them to have a reunion tour only if they had Victoria though- yes she can't sing and did buggar all in the band but she still help made the genius of the Spice Girls, just to finish it off on a high and I thought the Olympics were really well done but I would hate for them to release anymore music as time has moved on and it wouldn't be the same as it was in the '90s, so it could ruin the memory of their wonderful songs (IMO).

Realistically I can't see a big World Tour or an album with or without Victoria, for starters Mel C is still releasing music, Mel B has commitments with reality shows and lives in LA, Emma is doing radio and her partner is on tour too, though Geri's not doing much Thats before you even add in that they all have school aged kids, the feuds that might get resurfaced and the eating disorders/depression that they all had apart from Emma. I mean they might do a few UK concerts for the 20th of Wannabe without Victoria but thats as far as it's going to get.

Some memories are best left in the past.

I think they should do it and reinvent themselves . But no posh , as she was such a waste of time. Always loved the other girls , and I think they could pull of a nice mature pop album.

I reckon they should be a memory of the 90's.
Their name alone will never go along with any credible or mature album release in the future, it would only seem forced.
When you compare them to for instance All Saints who always had an edge and it was not strange when they started working with William Orbit. I cannot see the Spice Girls release something other than fun songs that have no deeper meaning or classic value

2016 will mark 20 years since their debut so they might release a greatest hits album again and a few tours. Abba have millions of greatest hits albums all with the same songs on them that get re released every few years.

edit - The Spice Girls had hits like "goodbye" and 2 become 1, so it shows they can also do mature serious stuff. Also headlines and viva forever,

I love Geri! one of my idols I think she is underrated as a pop writer. She might not be Elton but she can write a catchy pop song!!

Funny that, given the their performance is officially the second most watched moment of the ENTIRE Olympics as well as the most watched musical performance globally....

I don't think they need/want to. The Olympics was a once in a lifetime chance and they knew it, and I loved it
But unlike take that all the members seem pretty sound finance wise, and most have there own thing going really well.
Posh=Posh (fashion,celeb,David,just being Posh)
Scary=judge/presenter/famous fathers paying out (not meaning that as a slight AT ALL)
Emma =Former/current ? Actress, guest panelist
Sporty I'm not sure, I know she was the most musically talented (IMO) I thought I heard she was on stage
Ginger-I think once judged a talent show...
But all of them made so much from the spice girls, and still are earning off merchandise in other country's....there really is no need.

Geri is putting the finishing touches to her 4th album.

I just hope she gets a label who are confident enough to release it for her. I want new music from a Spice Girl other than Mel C! I've given up hope of Melanie B ever releasing her 3rd album. Its been delayed constantly since 2008.

I don't think any of them have the passion or the commitment to do it to be honest. The time to have done it would have been after the Greatest Hits but they couldn't even finish that tour without cancelling dates.

I also think it is unlikely. They have branched off and done different things. You have Emma doing other things. Victoria has established a fashion label. Mel B now does the X Factor. Mel C has always gone off and done her own thing and Geri has only just got married and had a child I think. So, all in all I think it is very unlikely that anyone will try to find the time needed to make a successful comeback that will not both critically acclaimed as well as a commercial one.

Geri has a whole album she is ready to release. She keeps teasing it on Twitter. I just hope she gets a record label who are willing to release her stuff after what happened with Half of Me

Although I suppose there is nothing stopping her from releasing it herself.

If they do tour next year and it is without Victoria, I still think it'll be successful. I mean, they did 17 nights at The O2, I'm sure they'll be able to do quite a few there next time round (maybe not as high as 17 but still a considerable amount) and they've got so many countries they missed on the last stop. Just touring in South America and Australia would do wonders.

As much as I loved them, their time has passed

Oh god, I don't know how you can mention Headlines in the same paragraph as Viva Forever, Goodbye or 2 become 1!

The former was horrible, the latter three are three of the best pop ballads from the 90s in my opinion!
