I know Perez should not have said what he did to Cami Li but I felt sorry for him when Nadia started telling what to immediately apologise when he was trying to explain himself. He could not get a word in and ended up crying.

Now I'm trying to remember which BB series had a HM making a big deal of another HM's eye-rolling. Was it BB 15 (the most recent non-celeb one)?

I'm not sure but I think it may have been Kimberly (from Helen's year) from the non-celeb series who did the eye rolling?

I agree with the positive Perez comments--he is entertaining, seems good-hearted, is upfront with people but not in an overly aggressive manner. I mainly lurk but reading some posts in support of Perez made me want to show my support. He is good for the show.

Katie is also good for the show but I don't like her hypocritical manner of saying she "tells it to your face" then runs around gossiping behind their backs (sometimes she is upfront and other times she isn't upfront). She also stirs the pot and seems like a coward (others in this thread have explained it already). I do find her entertaining even if I am not a fan of her.

Perez and Katie will hopefully stay to the end to keep the show interesting. However I hope Katie and her gang don't go all mean-girl/bully….they haven't yet and I think some in her cliche wouldn't stand for it….however I worry about Perez since I think he is sensitive and wants to be liked (some of his crying may be playing up to the cameras but I do think he is genuinely upset/hurt when he cries….also his advice to people, while it may not be good advice, seems to come from a good place (he seems like he is trying to help them and I think it is a sign of "niceness" to try to offer unsolicited help/advice but I can see where it can backfire)

Perez makes the show interesting and while he is OTT, he does't come off as annoying/selfish as the guy on the last non-celeb BB--shorter OTT guy who hung out with Chris (marcus or something like that). Also Perez can realize and admit when he is wrong and offer sincere apologies.

Perez has made me laugh (unintentionally) but Katie hasn't. Atm I'd like Perez to make the final as he's been central to what's been going on in the house, good and bad. I don't really care when Katie leaves as long as it's not last, as the winner.

Well according to the DS poll almost 80% of the forum agrees so far ~ I dont get the love for him on here I'm afraid, he is a troublemaking, vindictive, vicious little man with huge issues

Perez has so far been far kinder in the house generally than Katie and her coven.

Of course this may change, but so far I prefer him and his loud annoying ways over Katie, Michelle, Cami and Chloe any day.

It seems to me that he isn't entertaining, isn't always upfront, sometimes is overly aggressive, and is such a grabber of camera time that it's making it hard for me to watch the show.


When someone says they "tell it to your face" (has Katie even has said that in CBB?) I see it as as a relative thing, not to be taken absolutely and literally, and not as a claim that they'll never keep something to themself or never talk about it with someone else instead of confronting.

No HM ever says everything to faces, no matter what their claims about telling it to your face, and I think it's good that they don't. Rather than see it as hypocrisy, I just think it makes them a more interesting character (certainly less 1-dimensional), with some other qualities in the mix. (To make it seem hypocrisy, it has to be interpreted in an absolute and literal way that I don't think was intended.)

But if we're going to go into hypocrisy, Perez has been quite hypocritical himself, as a couple of threads have pointed out.

Re her alleged cowardliness, I've seen posts saying she's a coward; I haven't seen any explaining it.

Who do you think is in Katie's clique or 'gang'? I don't think this CBB has divided up in that way, to any great extent.

I think Perez is spiteful, calculating, hypocritical, and desperate to be a central character in every drama. Even Michelle has had to tell him to stop trying to be so involved so often.

However, he has some better qualities too, and if he'd turn down the attention seeking and tactics, they would show through more clearly.

Helen bitched about Jale for allegedly rolling her eyes when Pauline was speaking.

I just started watching this season. How far this show has fallen. Its essentially become The Real World. Ply them with tons of alcohol, watch them get pissed, and then be oh so shocked when shit happens that is inappropriate.

As to Perez, I'm really perplexed that there are people on here that are saying he is a good person. The man clearly has a mental illness of some sort. His 'good person' routine is simply a tool to use to keep the attention on him.

I've seen nothing to suggest that he has any interest in being a good person. When Kev was booted out the other night and he burst out into tears- this is the perfect example of who he is. Those tears were not about anyone else, they were about him. He couldn't stand that the attention was away from him for one iota, and thus here comes the waterworks. His outrage at Jeremy's actions, even when other housemates, rightly so, ask why are you so bothered, this does not affect you, also shows this tendency.

Of course, I watched BBBOTS last night and they are playing him up as being a great character. Completely lovely.

The whole damn show is so predictable at this point.
