LG G3. Had it since October last year. Been on the lookout for another one as i tire of phones easily, but having played with pretty much every top end phone, i can't find anything. No windows phone, iphone nor another Android phone for now seems to hold a candle to it.

Actually, the only one that comes close for me is the Z3.

Me and the mrs have had iPhones since the 3GS and now have iphone 5S for the last 6 months. Can't see us changing anytime soon, they both do exactly what we want.

Oh and we've been with Three for about 4 years

****ing knobhead!

I have a Galaxy Note 4, first time using a "phablet", I like how it feels, build quality definitely comparable to HTC and Apple. My only bug is the software, I think TouchWiz has become a bit too bloated, though I think Lollipop fixes a lot of those problems (explains why there has been so little development around kitkat for said device).

Mind you, I do miss having a pocket friendly device!

That's precisely why I haven't upgraded to the new iPhones, I like how compact and light my iphone 5S is

Samsung S3; had it since summer 2013. Its been an excellent phone. I am looking
now for a new phone but cannot decide which to go for. I am tempted to go for
a note 4 especially as I use my phone a lot on the net.

I understand how you feel, I was dragged kicking and screaming to the Note 4, I still have my 5S, I could get a bit of money for it if I were to sell, but just for those times when having a phablet isnt convenient I will put the sim in the iPhone and use that instead.

I think the main other reason why I keep the 5S, is for an iPod, I am indifferent to the apps as they are pretty much the same on either platform, but thats one thing the 5S had was pocket friendly size.

Now I walk everywhere looking like I have hard on, sadly this does not lend to nice looks from the ladies

I have the M8 as well, an upgrade from the M7, it really is an astonishingly good handset.

.

The note 4 is probably one of the best phones money can buy, but it's just too big to carry in a jeans pocket for me, and no I don't wear gay tight jeans either! Lol

Moto E - I bought this unlocked for £79 - a step down from my S3 which has served me for nineteen months. Good phone, good battery life and perfect for me. Got fed up of big phones.

On Gifgaff - £12 goodybag - 500 mins, unlimited texts and 3GB of data.

A sim free Nexus 5 since it's launch late 2013. Easily the best, and best value, phone I've owned. I haven't risked ruining it by upgrading to Lollipop yet and the Nexus 6 just didn't appeal to me at all.

I'm still on a Nexus 4 and it's still the best phone I've had. I did upgrade to Lollipop and had no problems with it. If it was to die then I'd probably get a Nexus 5 (or maybe Moto X) to replace it. I have no interest in a Nexus 6 as it's far too big. Samsung phones have never appealed as I prefer stock android over the TouchWiz UI.

I bought a Sony Xperia Z3 Compact in September/November as a SIM free one but put in a Nano version SIM on 02's PAYG. Great phone and I'm charging it at this moment as it's down to 38% after 7 days use - not a power user you understand.

I'm a bit of a mobile geek so have a few phones at the moment - they tend to change quite quickly too as I like trying out different devices, different ecosystems etc. Most of the phones I buy are secondhand, lately usually from the 'preowned' section of Game stores or from CEX. Had a few problems with blocked/faulty phones on eBay in the past.

Currently my 'main' phone is an white/gold iPhone 5S, bought secondhand last October I think. Love the size/form factor, I find the latest fad for phablets is getting quite annoying now and wish more manufacturers apart from Sony would make high-end smaller-screened devices. I like the Apple ecosystem too and yes, the 'it just works' feel. Also many docks/accessories are compatible.

Also have a 2013 Moto X, bought in December last year and love it! Feels compact despite the 4.7" screen, near-stock Android and quick despite only having a dual-core processor.

Next an HTC One M7, got that around November last year. great speakers and screen, quick, not fussed with BlinkFeed so turned that off but lovely phone and the IR blaster comes in handy.

Got a Samsung Galaxy S3 a couple of days ago too - this one's running a CM12 KitKat ROM which is fairly stable but still get the odd crash. Had a camera bug but found an app that reboots the camera so don't have to reboot the phone when I want to take a picture! Despite the screen only being 0.1" larger than the Moto X, this feels much larger and unwieldy to use compared to the Motorola. Nice device and fun playing about with stuff on a rooted device.

Oh, and lastly a Nokia Lumia 620 to keep a toe dipped in the WP camp. Decent little phone though a little laggy at times.

I really should sell one or two, I do have too many phones but enjoy using them!

HTC One M8 at the moment. In 2014, I've had the M7 (previous version), Nexus 4, Nexus 5, iPhone 5S and Samsung Galaxy S4.

I've had the M8 at least 4 months now which for me is a long time However, its proving to be a difficult phone to replace even if my feet are itching.

The Nexus 5 was my second favourite - stock Android is a lovely thing to behold particularly with 5.0 on it, and I never found the camera that bad (laggy mind), and the price was great, however, the storage was a problem (I had 16gb version) even though I tried to use the cloud, more often than not it wasn't an option when I needed it. Battery life was the worst thing though, but really it was just last gen in that respect. My girlfriend still has it!

The iPhone 5S was close behind. Storage was a problem again, and the thing was too damn small, and the battery life was no better than the Nexus, but the sound quality and camera of the thing were far better and it felt (and was) more expensive. A 64Gb iPhone 6 / 6 Plus I have used at work, and they are superb on the brief time I've had.

Which gets me onto the M8. I got mine second hand < £300, and a 64Gb memory card. The camera is not the most detailed but rather underrated IMO, its fast and easy to use. The sound quality is on a par with the iPhone as is the screen (some would argue better, but hard to notice in reality), and the battery life is seriously good (2 days with ordinary use - I charge it every night but normally have around 40 - 50% at the end of a moderate-heavy day and even around 15 - 20% the next morning following a day of hammering it for most of the day. While I prefer the look of stock android, the Sense ROM adds some worthwhile extras and is just as fast in every respect so horses for courses. FM radio, SD card and IR blaster (although the latter has proved useless for me) are worthwhile extras and the build quality is easily the equal of the iPhones.

I tried a Z3 the other day. Nice but no better than the M8 and the camera was relatively disappointing indoors on auto.
