Hi,

Me and my colleagues are conducting some market research into peoples perception of Doctor Who for a university project. We have created a short survey to complete and any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

I think the questionnaire is not clear in some places (not the best questionnaire I have seen).

What do you mean by accessing more stories? Do you mean official BBC Doctor Who stories or fan fiction? Also what do you mean by games in the same question? A console video game or a very short mobile phone game? I assume it is the latter since you expect people to have a maximum of 10 minutes attention on a comic book.

As for questions such as who are your favourite doctor, villain and companion I am interested to know how that is relevant to extending Doctor Who to the digital market place. Also I don't see the point of having a question that asks do you notice "buzz" (no idea what that means) when you advertised this on a forum

The biggest question I have is why are you limiting this to a interactive comic book? The digital market is vast.

I have to agree with bp2. I started doing it and then stopped after the first few questions. The questions really aren't clear. Question 4, as an example, isn't good:

4. What do you think about Doctor Who?
• I want more stories that I can access.
• I want more interactive stories that I can access.
• I want more games that I can access

I work in research and even I am struggling to connect the question to the three answers being offered. What does "I want more stories that I can access" actually mean?

Well, I have completed this, but I cannot help wondering if you have ever watched a single episode of Doctor Who in your life, as your questions seem so far from anything to do with the series. Would it not have been a good idea to try to understand your subject before launching your largely irrelevant questionnaire? Still, I wish you joy of my answers.
