Using an Apple apostle obviously doesn't lend itself to balanced opinion but it shows where they have taken their cues from. Its also pertinent in that they haven't released any devices of note in the west. Of course they probably don't need to, however if they were to do so, Apple would be all over them like a fly to a shit and maybe someone like Google as well.

Very interesting phone, but sadly I suspect the LTE / 4G support will not be good enough for the UK

We use bands 3,7,20 . The device might have 3,7 but I see nothing that could be interpreted as 20 which is especially useful for broader coverage at 800GHz

220 million reservations sounds way weirder than any other style of so called sales total I have seen.
I guess it is possible that they have advance sales of 220 million 'gadgets', all types included.

Not a translation error.

In China you can register for a chance to buy. Many people will sign up at multiple retailers, many companies will sign up multiple times. You can be sure that demand is very very high, but that number is also very very inflated.
