RULES
Each day, you must pick one player from the WTA and ATP singles main draw who are scheduled to play that day. (The order of play will be updated daily).
Once you have chosen that player, you cannot pick them again for the remainder of the tournament. So picking Novak or Serena in the earlier rounds could cost you the chance of winning the competition further down the line... but it's entirely up to you!
I'd like all picks to be chosen before the day's play begins. This way everybody has the same players to choose from. If you forget to pick a player before the day's play begins, you will be out of the tournament. (I may allow for some discretion if the first match of the day is midway through the first set. )
If your player wins their match, you'll be able to continue in the competition the next day. If your player loses the match, you will be eliminated.
If your first choice withdraws before the match begins, or is the beneficiary of a walkover, you must provide me with a back-up pick. Please make sure you provide me with a back-up pick the same time as your first choice pick.
If your player's match is suspended until the next day of play, that still counts as your pick for that day. If he loses the next day you will be eliminated. However, you must still provide a pick for the next day's scheduled matches. Eg. if your Day 5 pick's match gets suspended, you should assume that he/she will win and pick from the Day 6 scheduled matches.

ATP: Novak Djokovic
Back-up: Roger Federer
WTA: Serena Williams
Back-up: Victoria Azarenka
