The next HTC flagship phone will be unveiled on 1st March at MWC (im sure someone on this forum is heading there and it isn't me). Will it be called the HTC One M9?

Make the camera good, make the phone no bigger, keep stereo speakers.

My phone.

Most likely, it's been rumoured for a while and if those are true then it looks like it's going to be rather good

Yep, I have my eye on this. My contract ends mid-march so I wonder when this will be released in the UK...along with the Xperia z4.

I absolutely love my HTC One M8....but it's just too big. All flagship phones are going too far with size.

I reckon I'll be heading towards smaller phones on my next contract at the expense of performance.

I also love my M8, but it is quite an unwieldy phone for the size of the screen I find. I don't find it any more difficult to handle a Galaxy Note than I do the M8. The Nexus 5 has the same size screen but is a far nicer size to hold.

Each to their own but I'm hoping for a 5.2" screen on the M9, but make it thinner and easier to hold. I'm hoping they stick with 1080P for better battery life. I'm hoping that they keep a mostly stock interface too but I think that's too much to hope for. Better camera would be most welcome, but keep the ultrapixels IMO. The only camera on a phone I have personally used that does better in low light was my old Lumia 920. I reckon an 8 MPX or maybe 13 MPX top camera with Ultrapixels and depth sensor could be quite a thing to behold.

This is definitely on my radar if the rumours are to be believed and it'll have a 20.7MP camera to rival the quality of the Z3 and Note 4.

I can upgrade anytime but gonna hold out til March at least to see what the next flagships are gonna look like.

But what about the Desire 620? I read on a number of websites that it would be released in the UK this month, but no sign so far.
If htc doesn't come out with it soon, I'll be going to Argos for the new Moto G Titan (4G).

Desire 620 out this month on o2 if TechRadar is to be believed although it's not listed on o2's site yet. Chat to one of their agents and see what's going on with it.

Still waiting for the HTC promoted M8 Eye with the plastic body and uprated camera - what happened to that?

I will keep an eye on this, as well as the other flagships. I am able to upgrade in April, so I am keen to chat with any other peeps looking to get one of the new releases this year, so i can make a decision.

Wrong phone, that's the Desire Eye, not the M8 Eye.

Released in Asia only. Has a 13MP camera, retains the metal body, omits infrared and NFC connectivity.

Asia only...oh well...

I wonder why HTC sent me infomation to my phone about look out for it and 'coming soon' when they had no intention of selling it here?

The new phone sounds decent though from the rumours - as long as it is not too big.

Looks good - I'm tempted to get a new phone this time round as the nexus 4 is like a turd since lollypop

Disappointing (same) design - the leaked design was much better IMO.

The M8 looked nice so I can see why they've stuck with that design, however I'm a bit disappointed it isn't going to look like the earlier leaked images

Still has that useless black bar at the bottom robbing it of screen estate.

Nonsense.

It already has a 16:9 ratio screen, so to remove that bar, there's three choices:

A: Make the screen even wider into a non-standard ratio

B: Make the phone wider

C: Make the phone shorter

No chance of A happening, it's already wide enough, and less length=less battery.
