I think Chloe made a good point after being evicted. She said she ignored Perez's antics 90% of the time, but he's always there and sometimes he'd get to her.

OK, let's get this very clear OK, there is a HUGE difference between the N word against black people and the tern ass fagot.

The N word comes from slavery, when all the slaves human rights were taken from them, they were beaten, sold, raped...you kind get that the N word is pretty much a deeply meant insult.

With gay men words are slang - a few years back Queer was the norm and is still used very often - SOME people classify it as homophobic, others do not ( Queer as Folk tv series for example).

Faggot is an american term that's occasionally used here in the UK, but not very often.

You cannot compare the N word with what was said to Perez - that said, Alex should be advised that what he said was not appropriate.

So why hasn't the Perez pr*ck had a warning for provocation and obscene behaviour it's gone way beyond a wined up

I have no idea. He should have been removed for his behaviour but the C5 era of BB seems to think it's great viewing and anything goes.

But look at your own analogy. It's using "fa**ot" that's the problem. Why turn it into something else?

That what he actually said is still offensive does not mean it's ok to distort it.

From negro to faggot, am I the only one who finds it ironic when the person who is being "defended" from PC crimes goes on to be the offender?

Well we will probably never know who started what tbh, we can only guess how much is never shown, it seems that these two have a bit of a thing between them and what exactly that is we dont know. I personally am not keen on either of them though Perez last night made me laugh more than I have in ages ...........it was all very bizarre and ridiculous and surreal in a way which I found hilarious.

Those that are so worked up in there about him should take Nadia's advice and ignore his attention seeking behaviour, he is a massive WUM though to be honest I am enjoying seeing them taking him so seriously and their reactions to him.

They do most of the time, but he's at it constantly and occasionally gets through.

I don't think they are taking him seriously. They are trying to deal with a constant annoyance.

I know it's very difficult because he's exhausting in his relentlessness.
A long time ago a friend from the south taught me how to look right through someone, as if they aren't there.
It's a skill I rarely have to use but it's really handy for people like Perez.

Since I'm not in the situation Alexander is in I can't say for sure how I would react to Perez in that situation. I hope I wouldn't give him what he wants which is to react negatively. He thrives on negative energy.

He's like a blue bottle constantly buzzing around you. You can do your best to ignore it but every now and then you find yourself trying to swat it

I'm enjoying seeing Perez cry over being boo'd and him being wrong. Loved Alexander being saved because Perez "he knows media", "he knows what the British public want" was so sure he'd be the one going. I enjoyed his meltdown when the GPB showed him how wrong he is, on every count.

I did not enjoy him humping a wall. That was just lame.

If it was me I'd take him to one side and say to him that his behaviour is not acceptable and that if he doesn't tone it down I'll have no option than to tell everyone that he was relieving himself sexually in the shower.

That would certainly shut him up because the entire house would turn against him.

If anyone said Alexander had a "dumb ass negro" look on his face I'd say there is a very good chance that they would be removed.

Has nobody else found this bit hilarious?

Perez then discovers that Katie has broken the hare statue, and she is called to the Diary Room by Big Brother to defuse the situation.

The N word and the word fagot do not have the same historical significance and anyone with any ounce of credibility would know that.

Keep your focus past them and listen to anything but them. It's about focus.
Being able to direct one's focus.

I'm not referring to "the N word" .. I specifically said negro.
So lets not equate Negro with "The N Word" because that's akin to saying Fanny is as objectionable as C'unt.

How can Perez get away with that exhibition he made of himself last night, the way he has provoked so many people and yet it is Alex and Ken that got the warnings?

Fair comment.

However there are many many slang words for gay people - some are used by gay people and others are used at gay people. Some are highly offensive to some and not offensive to others, so it's a mine field as to what names are accepted and which ones aren't.
