There aren't many HMs who've made me wonder about the e-word, but he is one of them.

No-one's 'innately' evil

I dislike him immensely but to say there's no good in him whatsoever would be foolish

He's painted himself into a corner in life, lots of issues, lots of glossy badly hung wallpaper over huge deep cracks

His profession is riddled with egos that go too long unchecked, his own being one of them

A trip to 'no nonsense Blighty' won't do him any harm

Mentally unbalanced would be my assessment of Perez.

He's delusional but ultimately damaged. Nobody that is that much of an attention-seeker is right in the head.

I think he has a personality disorder, or a mental illness. Surely no one would behave in that manner voluntary.

Look at him using the "concern for my safety" line again now, just as he did against Ken.

I'm not sure even "twisted and malicious" is strong enough, and where can I go beyond that short of "evil"?

He's achieving exactly what he wants, the entire episode tonight is about him. The more you talk about him, the more his strategy succeeds.

She is the one who has been biting the most and taking his bait. He broke her as well.

The irony of her daring to tell anyone not to wind people up is bleeding rich.

In simple terms he is a genius, only at what he is doing though. Its a very narrow corridor. He knows how to wind people up and keep it going and going. Just like a little kid.
