Thankfully he was given his marching orders.

Yes, thankfully they dropped him. He showed himself up to be a racist on his radio show so I wonder if that had something to do with it.

he does a phone-in radio show on BBC WM on a Friday & Saturday. Can be very funny, but he does toe the BBC PC line.

You can listen to past shows here:

Perhaps Big Brother have higher standards than the BBC and that's why they dropped him. The show has had many problems with racism in the past so having a racist presenting BBBOTS probably wouldn't be the brightest idea.

The quote refers to Ian Lee in case you did not catch it ....he was so funny .

Oh my good god another "racist" ... in my ever so humble opinion everyone is racist or bigoted about one thing or another it is only when it conflicts with your opinion that it is considered WRONG...

BBC left wing agenda? You best tell Nick Robinson, Andrew Neil, Jeremy Clarkson and countless other Tories that work there.

Iain was probably too honest and cutting edge for the low-rent after show. Nothing was taboo or too sacred for him to take the piss out of it.

It was widely reported at the time. I've posted one of the articles above. The BBC agreed it was totally unacceptable and Iain Lee apologised.

Would he apologise if he had done nothing wrong? Highly unlikely knowing Iain Lee.

It was a racist remark and that's why he had to apologise. It may explain why he was dropped from BBBOTS.
