Although his behaviour's been erratic, he's been entertaining and still seemed fairly on top of it all - until last night. Still annoying? Absolutely, but he seemed much more fragile and I began to think he may be having a nervous breakdown - the garden scene bringing it all to a head. At the end I thought he was genuinely begging to go and they should let him.
We have had a week of the Perez show, now it is boring, get rid of him and the house would change, there are still big characters left. The producers are being lazy, relying on him. Bring some tasks in, hard ones, fun ones, to bring some interest to the show.

I can imagine you would have liked living in the olden days when they used the inmates from psychiatric hospitals for people's entertainment

Absolutely. He's making it almost unwatchable at the moment. I don't think I've ever hated a person on a tv show before but he is coming very close to reaching that level. He's an absolutely hideous human being who is ruining the experience for the other HMs with his selfish, deluded, self absorbed behaviour.
He certainly doesn't entertain me in the slightest
He is having an effect on every member of the house.
Some HMs are nothing without him. I know if he wasn't there that other things would be shown, but no-one would reveal themselves as much as they arre with him in the house.
He is making the experience a real test for the other HMs and I agree that without him the show would be poorer.

the 2 are completely different characters. just because they work in the same industry doesn't make them in any way alike. katie is a pound shop immitation. perez is more compassionate, far more volatile and has a lot more savvy than hopkins. he is infinitely funnier and is earning his money. if I was in a house surrounded by horrible people, I would act up too.
the others are also completely self-absorbed (by and large). they just don't have enough about to make interesting tv imo. that is why Perez is commanding all the attention.

and you draw this conclusion from? I am generally a big fan of bb but this series has completely jumped the shark. dreadful casting - the only character I find remotely interesting is Perez. why did they not cast an alpha-male to keep him in check? he is in the show to play a part and without him there would be no reason to watch. this series has been a complete farce though. not a lot of fun
