Katie Price caught her husband with another woman

She sat at the kitchen table telling the other housemates how she found her husband kissing her friend, and how she caught the woman by the hair, pulled her head down and started hitting her

She went on to say how they ( her husband and this other woman ) had been sh@gging for ten months

The assembled housemates gasped, and shook their heads in disapproval at the terrible betrayal Katie Price had suffered

Katie Hopkins was there too, listening to all this

I found myself recalling how Perez had taken Hopkins to task about her own affair with a married man and how Hopkins had brazenly declared that since she wasn't married it wasn't an affair at all, on her part

The other housemates seemed to agree with her ( which shocked me a bit )

How come their moral perspective turned on a dime like that ?

I lost the will to live by the end of Katie P's story....... I had toothache and listening to her made me feel as though i was having said tooth pulled
I dont understand why we needed the whole he said she said throughout the whole thing.

Some one posted on here that Nadia had an affair that resulted in her husband's suicide.
I would be amazed if at least half the room hadn't either done the dirty on a partner or done the deed with somebody in a relationship, including Kate Price. It's sad but very common today, exacerbated by social media.
I laughed when Katie said " on a fuxxxng holiday I was paying for by the way"

We didn't. I didn't need to hear any of it. Dignity doesn't feature in that woman's vocabulary.

She also bragged about how she pulled Jane's hair and punched her. What about her husband? Oh yeah, she put him through therapy and took him back.

To this day she is still, repeatedly, slagging off & using the media to call Jane all the names under the sun. Just recently she sent out a tweet saying to all that 'she'd won' because Kieron was still with her!!

You think that what 'Jane' did was OK then ... do you ?

What makes you think that?

Considering Katie repeatedly changes the story's dialog it's had to know what Jane actually did. A true story has no reason to change.

I'm sure anyone who is remotely interested in her life already knows every detail, and the rest of us don't want to know. I particularly disliked her saying that she had paid for the holiday. I suspect a lot of that kind of thing goes on in her life and relationships (I mean, the casting up, rather than just the paying).

I don't understand your point. What did you want them to do in order to maintain moral consistency in your eyes?

It's OK Fairy Wings ... if you'd rather not answer, that's fine of course

Of course it is. But I don't mind in the slightest

It takes two to tango. Her husband was equally to blame.

My point was that when Perez confronted Katie Hopkins on being 'the other woman' in a marriage break-up the housemates took umbrage and berated him for it ... siding with Hopkins

Yet when Katie Price told the story of infidelity from 'the wife's' point of view, the housemates were united in contempt for 'the other woman'

Doesn't that strike you as moral inconsistency ?

Not really. Big difference in being a stranger with no loyalty, to being a best friend with a huge amount of loyalty.

If my partner cheated with my best friend, it would have much more of an impact than if they cheated with a random person I didn't know.

I'd be upset at the fact that I couldn't go to my BF to discuss hubby's infidelity... She couldn't even go to her other good friend, as she too did the deed.

Wow. Really? It wasn't in the news or anything.
First I've heard of it.........

It's also worth noting that in this case Jane was also married. So they were both cheating. It's different in many ways to Hopkins' story.

No. Quite apart from what you say about the Perez/KH issue being wrong (they berated him for the vicious way he spat out the questions rather than openly siding with KH on the issue of adultery), even if you were right, what did you want them to do? Stop a new HM to say "sorry, we have as a group already adjudicated on this issue and find the other woman in an affair to be blameless. Now, stop with the carping."????

Enough already! How many more times is Katie going to tell this tale. She really needs some more material. This affair is so last year.

Can I point out that it was Katie's beloved husband that pursued his wife's friend, even to the point of discussing marriage and kids. That's if you believe the whole cock & bull of course.

I hadn't heard of what happened with Nadia before. Just Googled it. So tragic, I do wish people would consider how their actions might effect others more. According to his family Nadia wasn't exactly remorseful either. (Although I'll reserve judgement on that bit as they're understandably going to be angry).

I do think Katie Hs situation is different to Katie Ps situation with her best friend fo 20 years being involved. However I've never understood how people can be callous enough to not accept responsibility for their actions of being the affair partner just because they themselves weren't married. IMO they are still a huge part of the deceit.

I know exactly what you mean. It was all "He says this, then she says that, so I turned around and I says.....blah blah blahdy blah".
