Perez = Shahbaz
Bunny83

Perez has been really reminding me of someone for ages now but I couldn't put my finger on it. Now it's clicked. Shahbaz from BB7. The dramatic performances, the attention seeking, the tears every 5 minutes, the complete lack of social awareness... I'm sure he's going to start hiding the food in a minute!

Interesting how it's had the same effect on the housemates too...

Yep I got serious Shahbaz vibes from him too

It's uncomfortable viewing and he's absolutely bringing out the worst in everyone else. Blimey I'd struggle being locked in a house with him though...

Ah that's the name I was searching for earlier it's almost a mirrored situation, the way people are not dealing with him in an adult and reasoned way !

I'd say that was pretty much an impossibility given his lunatic behaviour. A team of trained psychiatrists would struggle.

The problem is that neither Perez or Shahbaz would listen to reasonable discussion about their behaviour. Shahbaz had people who tried to talk reasonably to him (Leah, Pete and I think Richard?) as has Perez (Michelle, Keith, Nadia) but they ignore all their advice until eventually they've pushed everyone away. Both clearly have some deep down issues and have absolutely no idea how they come across to the public!

Rubbish, if they actually sat down and talked to him more then he wouldn't have time to be so irritating, I think he could be interesting to get to know given a chance - Keith seemed to be having reasonable conversations with him a grown up treating him like a grown up and they found things to say to each other.

I'm not sure I agree. Even on Day 1 when everyone was talking to him, he was talking over everyone, first to the diary room every time, trying to make it 'The Perez Show' (in his own words). Whatever reasonable advice people give him seems to go in one ear and out the other.

If people don't rise to his behaviour, he gets more outrageous/obnoxious, it really is like a toddler being naughty to get attention. When he was dancing in the garden the other night, and realised the girls weren't paying attention any more (because they were too busy rowing) he had to up the ante by stripping off and pretending to have sex with a window to get the spotlight back on himself.

The other problem is that there are a few people in there who are too thick to realise fighting with him won't get them anywhere either. Cami Li for example ('college educated woman' my arse, I'd think someone with a degree in law could put together a more intelligent argument than "I'm Cuban, go F yourself"). It just fuels his fire more.

The guy clearly has some very deep-seated issues. For someone who overanalyses everything, he has a shocking lack of self awareness.

Well remembered.

I had thought there was a strong resemblance but I couldn't remember the name.

He is in no way like Shahbaz, I liked Shabaz he was great, bit OTT but a likeable guy, Perez is his own worse enemy in many ways though that being said he in no way deserves the abuse he is receiving.

I see nothing similar. Shabaz was mentally unwell. Perez Hitlton is DELIBERATELY playing what he thinks is a good game, sadly it involves goading, baiting and causing havoc for his fellow hm's.
