He just provokes people and then plays the victim when they respond to him and he can't take it then he brings out the "I fear for my safety" card, he is provoking housemates in an effort to make them lose it and thus get evicted or removed

I think he's been obvious about the game, he just thought viewers would like it more.
If it was tactical to get him thrown out then why do it on the day Alex had a high chance of leaving ? I think it was more to do with discrediting Alex before he did interviews outside.

I think he was so convinced that Alex was leaving that he wanted to get in as much provocation as possible in the short window he thought he had left to get the reaction he desperately wanted so he could play his victim card yet again.
I honestly think the fact Alex was kept in and got cheered whereas he got royally booed has put his deluded little head in a complete spin and he has no idea what to do next

Well, bearing in mind that Perez did this in the safety of being in the BB house, i.e. the cameras were on. Who knows what Alexander might have done had this been in the outside world? Doubt if Perez would have had the bottle to have even done it in the first place outside, in the real world.
So Perez has won...Alexander left. True Alexander gave us precious little but at least the man had dignity and is a real celeb (not a controversial celeb blogger). Can Perez be any more unpopular within the house now??? Callum must be gunning for him....

Alexander left on his own terms without any warning or dramatics, Perez and Nadia keep threatening to walk when they have no intention of following through.
Perez is fairly smart...but surely he can see now that Alexander having to quit because of him means he will seriously lose popularity, here and in US?

Totally agree! Surely at some point Perez's actions and behaviour in goading, offending and taunting fellow HM's must be addressed in the strongest possible terms by BB ~ if it isn't then someone is going to do far worse than say "he has a silly ass faggott" look on his face.

The producers are allowing this tension to boil to a point where a violent confrontation could happen. They should let Perez go, next time he asks they should say ok we will make the arrangements and let him leave the diary room by the back door. That solves the problem, and it is Perez's request.
From an entertainment angle, I don't find him entertaining, what he did to Alexander amounts to bullying. If something bad happens it will be their fault. I don't find it entertaining to watch a normally mild mannered man being bated into loosing his temper and saying or doing something bad.

I completely agree. Perez is behaving in a despicable way and the producers are condoning his behaviour by continuing to allow it to happen with no consequence

You make a good, valid point about letting him go now. Guess they are pushing it to the max for entertainment purposes but treading a fine line in doing so.
I don't find Perez' bullying entertainment but most of his other stuff is to me, e.g. the getting it on with garden chair, the dramatic 'funeral' for the decapitated rabbit, the deranged "I am BB" etc. A lot of it is put on for effect but underlying this is a disturbed, vulnerable and neurotic guy.
