I keep seeing variations on this theme: we're all prejudging her. The subtext is "because if
I think she's being likeable she therefore
is being likeable". And that's tantamount to saying 'my opinion or perspective is a fact'.
And it really isn't a fact that she's been likeable in there. We all have different views on what's likeable. If I DO see something from her to change my view, then I'll change it, since I don't actually enjoy the feeling of not liking someone. My opinions usually shift on HMs from one day to the next.
They haven't with Katie because one or two scenes of crying, or getting along with other people, or taking on Public Enemy Number 1 Perez hasn't sufficiently offset the snide, cruel, superior, contrived ego that I also see. I already knew she wasn't The Terminator but I'm still waiting for her to be a convincingly decent person.
