Ok ok I know its after the watershed. I know its an adults show now. It never used to be. I always thought it as a PG certificate. I would watch an episode before my kids then decide. But this series especially they have only watched the launch. They're both under 11 years. It just shows how much BB has changed. Sad.

I've seen worse CBBs and BBs, this is nothing.

You let pre-teen kids watch BB? That is shocking.

I dont have kids, but I agree, it used to be watchable by children [not too young] and isn't now.

It's on after 9pm for a reason.

It has never been suitable for children's viewing IMO.

I said I watched each episode first. I don't just say "hey kids, wanna see some swearing and boobs tonight? "

Not one episode of this series has been suitable for children's viewing.

Remember there is a lunch time edit on ch5 which is suitable for all.

with the serious warnings made at the start of the show - what sort of warning do you need before you take heed?

i think it should be up to the kids what they want to watch/ not watch

never understood it really

i watched aliens when i was a kid and it was scary as hell - did it traumatize me after , no

years later age 16 i watched the shining had the same effect, wasnt some young kid then

and the other night i was checking behind my wardrobe after reading the who killed lucy beale thread. im 32

so what im saying is, who cares, just treat your kids with respect, whoever you are

Do you think those warnings they broadcast before each segment are there for the aesthetics? Of course it's not meant for kids.

But there has always been nudity, sex and nasty arguments since series 1 so what has changed exactly apart from the warnings but they seem more about protecting the producers rather than an actual change in the show?

The show is on at 9 / 10pm for a reason.

ETA I just noticed your kids are under 11. What age were they when you let them watch

Why would they be interested in CBB at this age?

Yes. I know. That's why I've stopped them watching. That's why I would censor it myself first before they watch. That's why I stopped them watching because I know my kids and I know what isn't suitable for their individual character.

I would never let my son watch this show. Although he let slip that his dad let him watch an episode last week. I'll be giving him a piece of my mind when I see him.

I tell you what **** it. I can see why so many don't bother with this forum anymore. Its not about discussions. Its about arguments, having a go, having a dig, slagging off.
Its pathetic.

I'm off

My jaw dropped when Katie price walked down the stairs F ing this and that and then shouted " hi mum hi kids!" Then went on to tell everyone how she caught her husband shagging her best friend

I'm not sure what response you expected from actually starting a thread about how you used to let 11 year olds watch Big Brother.
