in his tweet it says that the nominations made on Saturday still count for firday's eviction, so why cancel this one?

I bet the producers didn't bargain for 3 HM leaving in such a short space of time. Hope they go back to the drawing board for a new, better format next time.
Why can't they admit Perez is the problem and let him go, he can't do anything if they call his bluff.

One or two more may choose to walk when they learn about the eviction cancellation. They may have been hoping either they or Perez was evicted on Tuesday. The thought of spending 3 more nights in his company may be too much for them
If Alexander recieved any noms, the twist may involve those hm"s who nommed him choosing someone else instead.
With the numbers they have, they don't actually need to cancel it. I think it might be the current nominations not suting them, so they are giving the nominees another three day stay of execution.

But they broke rules they agreed to follow when signing the contract, surely cant get paid for that?!
Translation - we were scared Perez or Katie H would be voted out on Tuesday so we need a few days to think of a way to make them immune
i suppose they've gotta find something for emma to do - she'll be booked to do a live show so they've gotta give her something 
If Alexander appears on CBBBOTS then you can assume he's still getting paid. Mind you, he's a bit of a wuss, even Leslie stayed after Frenchie cut up his smalls.
