Yes, they should definitely drop their highest rated show! I swear half the people on here have not bothered to watch the show in it's earlier days.

It's not as if Channel 5 have any sort of reputation to defend in the first place.
Ha...was just thinking the same!

Yes, C5, that bastion of taste. Drop its feast of tacky telly to retain its image? Very unlikely. They will the champagne out over this wonderful monstrosity.

To be fair, they are the Lidl of tv channels so it's positively upmarket compared to their usual shows about fat people on the dole

Oh don't be absurd!

It would be really silly for a channel to drop their highest rated show, they would lose a lot of money and viewers!!

Oh no, not this again!

If you don't like it, don't watch it. Don't ruin it for other people.
Exactly.

lol. What name?

Producers are loving what's going on inside that house right now. As are the messes watching it.
Thought my correction would be more apt

Exactly. Perez shagging a window, beyond which the Harpies are screeching at each other, is positively highbrow compared with some of the low grade tripe they toss out.

This series of Celebrity Big Brother should be dropped by the new owners of channel 5 because it`s going to give them a bad name. Is this really what the new owners want? People are going to switch off because it`s out of control & the blame for that is going to be channel 5.
Bollox. This is the best tv I've seen in ages ! Long live King Perez !

It's become trashier than ITV. I don't understand how they've lost control of the house so much, they ain't punishing them or ain't keeping them active enough because it was never this bad before.

Exactly thank you. When i watched it on channel 4 it was very enjoyable but now it`s gone way way beyond that.

People need to be reminded that advertisers pay for the show, and when they decide enough is enough, the show will go.

really ??? Would it not be easier just to remove the torture which is Perez out of the house, or use, your off button, or make a compliant to OFCOM.
I doubt channel 5 or their advertisers are complaining, the general public seem to be giving them the viewing figures they want.

It still serves a purpose, and you really don't have to watch it. I understand its taken a dark turn and I fear it'll get to a physical level but Bb is all about the ups and the downs of social interactions between different people. We can't censor what the core aspect of the show is about.

I have to agree that it's out of control this year. But ask yourself why and there is only one reason. Perez has destroyed this series. What a shame.

What!! Even when channel 4 had the police arriving
some peoples memories of the past are poor...

the compaints made of the last 2 years effectively applied to BB5 & BB6
which had people running around with knives after a secret room and allegations of planted housemates... in C4's time there was also sleep deprivation with 24hour solid tasks.

BB is dark, it is about manipulation & cliques and it always has been
it has never been happy clappy... although with more "airtime" the previous years had more "time to fill" with the irrelevant light stuff.

cbbc and a load of sister C5 channels like nickJR are available for those who want happy clappy rubbish

Channel 5 have totally destroyed BB . They have destroyed everything BB was about .
The programme is now a sham . The forum has turned into a forum of hate . Very sad demise of what was once an entertaining programme .

Personally, I've never watched a full series of BB or CBB since it's been on C5. I'm loving this series and have watched it all so far so I think it's doing a good job!
