I must admit, seeing the mess C5 has turned it into, I really wish it had been left to die when C4 dropped it
Do people still actually believe this? We've had more good series in 4 years on Channel 5 than we had in 11 years on Channel 4.

Couldn't disagree more but each to their own. I find the civilian BB unwatchable these days and CBB is heading the same way. I haven't managed to watch a series all the way through without switching off since BB7

Channel 5 have totally destroyed BB . They have destroyed everything BB was about .
The programme is now a sham . The forum has turned into a forum of hate . Very sad demise of what was once an entertaining programme .
Did you even watch it on Channel 4? Maybe you should rewatch those series and see the disgusting behaviour in terms of bullying and discrimination. Watch BB6 and then let me know if this series is worse or Ch5 ruined it? BB6 would be taken off air nowadays.

In terms of CBB, you are right. CBB on Ch5 is better than Ch4.

Yeah pretty sure they'd listen to one person over 3m.

It's getting good ratings by channel 5 standards. I doubt they will drop it until it starts losing viewers. I haven't watched the normal BB for years, since before it moved to 5 so I can't comment on that, but going by CBB it doesn't seem much different and I much prefer Emma to Davina. Some people seem to have rose tinted spectacles for the old days as channel 4 was just as trashy. The only thing I don't really like about it now is that I think potentially more vulnerable people are being put in the house. They at least used to pretend they did some sort of psych review of the contestants, but I hardly think channel 4 was some moral bastion in that respect either.

Didnt Endemol make it and CH4 show it?

Now Endemol make it and CH5 show it?

Its really changed hasnt it.

Yeah, somehow I don't think so... its getting triple what Ch5 usually gets. Its the equivalent to ITV getting 14m... somehow I think it's safe. Take it off the air and enjoy their shows struggling to get 800k?

The one thing that annoys me is people saying "take it off", why destroy the enjoyment of others watching? Why don't these people do something with more sense... like switch off.
Exactly, Salv. People go on as if they are actually forced to watch! Let those who enjoy it enjoy it in peace and those who dont like it just change the channel.
The channel is showing mental torture which should never be allowed, It could seriously damage their health the way Perez is going, If that`s not a enough reason to drop it then i don`t know what is.
They are not locked in. They just need to open a door and walk through.

That's an interesting viewpoint, coming from one of the most prolific thread-starters in this entire forum.

The stakes will be upped in the summer. The next series of civilian BB will make the last one and this CBB series look like Little House on the Prairie.

It will be scripted again, but only in the direction of Serbian and Russian versions.

The sheeple are getting bored and will want blood.

This series of Celebrity Big Brother should be dropped by the new owners of channel 5 because it`s going to give them a bad name. Is this really what the new owners want? People are going to switch off because it`s out of control & the blame for that is going to be channel 5.
LOL

If Perez goads someone into assaulting him, where does this leave the production team?

It seems possible, so don't they have a duty to remove him?
BIB I think this is what Perez wants but he also wants his fee in full. Just give it to him and let him go.
