Where was this Katie in the 1st few days? She didn't like Perez then, but she was rather quiet. It seems that Katie 'I speak my mind' Hopkins has only got the courage to be gobby when she is sure that most of the house can't stand Perez and she has heard chants to get him out. I would applaud her ranting at him if I felt it came from any genuine feeling, instead of attention seeking.

People disliked her before she even entered the house and some of those will NEVER change their opinion. Personally I have changed my opinion and think she is a good housemate.

I had never heard of her before CBB so am not basing my feelings on her out of the house. I cannot stand her she is a mean, sly horrible woman who is playing a really clever, albeit a nasty game. I cannot stand Perez either but both of them are keeping the show interesting to watch and very entertaining, although very cringe at times. Certainly hope that neither of them wins. But they are such an awful bunch in there that it is hard to want any of them to win. Alexander was my choice to win up until now, but with him out Calum is probably my choice at this stage.
She is one of those people who think that harping on about free speech and defending her right to an opinion but that invariably involves just being insulting! I don't think that was the crux of free speech.
That aside - as many of us have said before - Katie broke up three marriages and showed no remorse. And she has insulted people for being fat, unemployed, disabled or dead (!) - just toxic.

Agreed. Sadly her behaviour is now deemed acceptable and people's feelings are of no consequence.

She's also got her gang (who she wouldn't spit on outside of the house) and is behaving like a complete immature fool now (no surprise) after silencing the rest of them apart from Nadia and Alicia. Constantly feeding the other immature misfit attention seeking fool. He's loving it and she's too dense to see that. She's manipulated her way to centre stage but, oh dear..
I really dislike her. Both for the repulsive things she said pre-CBB, and her paper-thin "I have morals and standards" routine in the house.

Ha ha, so true, although I'd go so far as to say some of the things said about her are actually far worse than what you see her come out with. The hypocrisy is so blatant in some of them too!
I do wonder if some people know they are doing this and just don't care or whether they are totally oblivious. .

i consider Katie H brain injured and its really offensive to parade her out on a show like this.
I have no idea if she is on Medication for her seemingly uncontrollable seizures she has at night, which is why she has her own bedroom on bb, but many epileptic meds have bad side effects on PERSONALITY.
my meds have 'angry outbursts' and Hostility as two of the listed side effects.
Katie H may have an impulse control issue as well. this is very common with brain injuries. It explains her lack of a filter and lack of remorse for the Terrible things she says./

Considering I called her "horrid", I'll assume this is (at least partially) aimed at me. I'm just "saying it like it is", a common excuse used by some Katie fans.
I'm not replicating any of Katie's behaviour, I'm judging someone for being a nasty, mean-spirited person. When I start insulting whole categories of people based on individuals, mocking the seriously ill, maybe then you can accuse me of being a hypocrite.
Making a judgement on someone for demonstrating downright cruel behaviour for no reason, and doing exactly that, are entirely different. But nice try.

I feel the same. The way people get so 'outraged' by her often silly and often unpleasant comments to the point of frothing at the mouth, amazes me.
She's not big or clever, I can't really get my knickers in a twist about her antics outside the house.
It's the outraged that give KH her power after all.
I've watched a bit but not enough to make a proper judgement on her in the house, but she doesn't come across so far as 'evil', rather a bit up herself and feeding a rather more unpleasant troll than she is herself.
People need to get a bit of a grip. Mind I've been saying this about Hopkins for a long time.

But, I'm not, as I clearly explained in that post. I'm not doing anything I oppose.
I oppose being nasty, hurtful and cruel to people for no reason (or for attention, as I assume is her reason). Doing that and making a judgement on someone for doing so are, as I've said already, completely different.
Again, when I start insulting people who've done nothing to warrant hostility and being cruel about things such a serious illnesses, perhaps then you can accuse me of contradicting myself. You'll have a long wait, though.

I agree. And I love the way she's dealing with blubbering Perez - he calls for strong measures.
What with bully tactics.. how come she stayed quiet for days at the start when Perez was acting the fool, didnt seem to bother her then, until she got her admiration society going.. the woman is devious and very clever...
