Again, when I start insulting people who've done nothing to warrant hostility and being cruel about things such a serious illnesses, perhaps then you can accuse me of contradicting myself. You'll have a long wait, though.”

What I'm saying is, because this is KH it's deemed ok. What if she was hurt or angered by being called 'horrid' or etc. I am not saying you in particular, not at all, but people who are slurring and insulting her while saying that she is a disgusting woman who has no wit and just slurs are hypocrites - fact. (Yes, I have turned into an early days Jeremy Kyle )

I don't understand why people get so upset about people having opinions. It's not as though she's in charge of the country and her opinions are likely to become law anytime soon.

I find her quite interesting and I don't care what she thinks of the fat or the unemployed (and neither should they). Some of her opinions I agree with and some I don't. I like her in the house because she makes her presence felt. She's not just sleeping her way through it.

Thanks, you saved me a lot of typing. My feelings exactly. I am mature enough not to 'hate' someone because they sometimes have a different opinion to me. Would be happy to see her win.

A lot of the housemates are barking mad (Perez being an example), but Katie is a seriously nasty and downright spiteful person. The things that come out of her mouth are so hurtful. She's created this fake persona for herself, but she's hurting people with it in the process. It's not even funny or entertaining, it's just cringy and Embarassing to watch. It's strange as I usually love the huge, talked about, big characters. She just comes across so desperate.”

Katie is epitomising the endless propaganda against immigrants, fat people, unemployed people, people who aren't like Katie essentially. She's a walking tabloid, spitting insults against the same groups which the government(s) and media in general are targeting.

And a lot of people believe the mainstream press, and Katie simply vomits out the same aggression in parallel with what people are told daily.

It is therefore not that surprising that suddenly, racists, bigots, spiteful, mean and inhumane people are now liked.... a lot too.

Maturity has nothing to do with whether one likes another person or not.
