Exactly this, how people are backing Hopkins and making out that Nadia is the villain is ridiculous, I am just surprised that so many people have fell for Hopkins games and vindictive nastiness. We have all seen Hopkins goad both Nadia and Perez tonight and her goading of Perez and his beaker was totally disgusting. It is obvious she is trying to constantly wind Perez up with her goading so that he will walk and is also trying to make Nadia lose it to make her look bad. I am so sick of Hopkins voice, get her out!!!!

Nadia was mature and knew Katie wanted a response so not letting Katie see how angry she was is smart in my opinion.

I'm seeing Katie as being genuinely upset about the way Perez is affecting people, who are putting up with his taunting endlessly, day after day. She's epileptic, it will be causing her a lot of stress,and she's entitled to tell Perez how disgusting he is. Nadia is a coward, I think she's been gunning for Katie over her remarks about the Palestinians - being half Arab herself - and had every intention of siding with anyone who is anti Katie. I'm a supporter of the Palestinian cause and didn't agree with Katie on her remark, which was totally taken out of context, as all her comments are. But it doesn't mean I have to carry out a vendetta against her. I admire her achievements and her honesty.

Interesting you point that out. I forgot until reading this but didnt she say in a news article she has fits most days which causes her to dislocate her arms and stuff yet we have not seen her have one in there

Anyways back to the topic ...... Once again i do not like Katie H and i never have ..... I used to like Nadia until she went into the house but either way i would expect a grown woman who seems to feel so passionate when people do wrong (the whole Ken thing) yet wont stand up and stay directly to Katie. Something tells me its because she feels as though she has met her match with her.
I just think you have an issue with someone you talk to that person directly (Unless Nadia feels as though she could not control her actions with Katie) - I honestly dont think Katie would blow up (maybe be a bit patronising towards her yes) but i dont know ..... Its monday morning and its bloody cold so im just thinking out loud with a coffee lol.

Perez is a 36 year old child, who is using every possible childlike manipulation he can to destabilise the house. For a living he finds people's weak spots and exposes them and he's doing exactly the same in the house. In RL this would be completely seen as a no no.

Nadia who is obviously a motherly type has latched onto the child part of Perez whilst completely missing the fact that he's a grown man who is hell bent on his own destruction. You heard him - in RL he has no friends and are we surprised? All the delicate ties of trust, mutual respect, kindness, selflessness and love that bind us together are not part of his personality that he brings to the fore In his so called friendships he uses people, he trusts no one and is probably the most violent and angry person in there.

Katie H is not like Perez although she recognises she has some of his traits, but that's it she recognises it. She is a much kinder, warmer person and she cannot understand how Nadia could be so blinkered as to ignore Perez' s anger and meanness and support him by backing him through his most vile behaviours. By doing this Nadia is enabling Perez to be his most monsterous and make the rest of the house suffer.

Katie is right, to ignore Perez is not cruel it is essential to contain the worst excesses of his really terrible personality.

No doubt there is a very sad story behind the grown up Perez, but what he needs is professional help to find a way of dealing with life in a more constructive way. Nadia is not helping that by allowing and condoning such disgusting behaviour. The sanity of all the people in the house is threatened by him. In the honesty task he said he wasn't interested in the use of weapons, but does not recognises that that is all he uses. Every cruel and nasty weapon he's got, short of his fists.
