Nadia being half Arab would have known about Katie's remark about Palestinians being 'filthy rodents'. I know this is just Katie being Katie (hahaha so funny, such wit!!)
but it's still interesting especially when in the loo Nadia talked about Katie's 'prejudices.'

Nadia knows the depths of Katie's stupidity and nastiness. This makes her all the more amazing for not rising to Katie's baiting tonight.
I'm proud of her.
It's like oil and water - Katie knows Nadia possesses qualities she can never have. People who know this about themselves have a strong compulsion to drag those who are better than them, down to their level.
I've seen it time and again.

Although I sometimes want Nadia to confront Katie, I can understand Nadia not taking the bait, since it would be like talking to a stone wall.

I know what you mean. And ultimately she doesn't have a leg to stand on. Her prejudices aren't even well-reasoned, since she lacks the depth.
I've never seen such disingenuous 'emotion' and 'empathy' before. It makes me laugh how she tries so hard to appear indignant, when all she really is is rejoicing at the thought of lauding it over someone since she's now found a justifiable reason. But her falseness is so transparent because she always over-eggs it....she just can't resist persisting with her persecution of someone, long after the dust is beginning to settle, she wants it to last as long enough as possible to feed her. And she's infected other housemates too, so they can keep the baton going.
