Most of those people are damn liars lol... The ratings are high for this series, and the same people who say they hate watching people like perez, subconsciously enjoy it, just to see him meet his match or be evicted. It is drama, and all drama needs some kind of disposition.

This series has an actual story-line, it has plenty of psychological points we can analyse, and THANK THE LORD there is no showmance. I am not a fan of mindless argument, but this sure as hell is not mindless, this is just plain interesting to watch.

Who are these people pretending Perez isn't annoying? Do you mean people in the house, or people online?

I suppose fans of the series would argue not that Perez isn't annoying, but rather that he's effectively causing drama and making this zoo more interesting. I'm personally half and half on that. He is, but at the same time it's very hard to watch, knowing that he's a horrible sh*** human being, but that he's perhaps providing a service for us. Kind of like how someone might laud a drug dealer they buy drugs from or a pimp they get a prostitute from. We're ashamed this person is providing entertainment to us, but it's oddly true, in a stomach turning way. That's Perez Hilton, substituting out whores or drugs with drama for our amusement.

I find him more disturbing

The drama's entertaining (from a safe distance), and obviously Perez is an integral part of that, but the things he does like frottaging a window or coughing on purpose when people are trying to sleep really aren't. So no, he himself isn't entertaining; watching everyone else getting so wound up over him is (sometimes, sometimes it's actually extremely uncomfortable).

I agree.. Though my hate lies more with Katie Hopkins, since shes just so transparent for me at the moment.

But it is a low rate show, for washed up celebs. I would not take it too seriously.

Hey do you know why there are so many music choices, films made every year and loads of TV channels? Not everyone finds the same things or people entertaining. I think American Football is tedious and mind numbingly boring but I don't think the millions of people who disagree with me are damn liars.

It is uncomfortable too.. but that in itself provides us with some kind of entertainment, whether it be odd or not.

If Perez is the cause of the drama, then he is entertaining. I think people are just taking his bull too seriously.. I know hes a brat, but a lot of them are jumping onthe bandwagon.

Oh and dont get me started on how they licked the backside of Alexandra the thug

I am not saying you are a liar, but a whole lot of these people are most likely just saying it out of anger. If it is not that entertaining, then why are the ratings so high this year? Why do the majority want perez out, yet they are all tuning into watch it?

The BB viewers are not the brightest bunch, I know I watch this show... I it is a very guilty pleasure, but this is the only series I have watched ina long time.

What I find most entertaining about it all is the way that the other housemates just can't control their reactions. It's fascinating that these (supposedly) successful and competent people are reduced to becoming playground bullies and thugs because they're so irritated by him.

It's ridiculous. I don't know how anyone can defend them.

Yes, but it's easy to play armchair quarterback (to bring in an American football analogy in honour of Scout66). We're at a safe distance from Perez and his antics, and it's probably pretty easy to say from that distance that people should be cooler/not take it seriously, when we can turn off our TVs and computers and escape from it whenever we want.

Although to be evenhanded, they are being PAID to endure this fool. That should figure into things too. You put up with a lot for the moolah.

BTW: can't say I'm on board with mocking Alexander in the form of making his name into a girl's name. Mock him sure, he's fair game, but it's an unnecessary shot at girls in general!

Because viewers of reality TV love car crashes. This is partly due to Perez but a lot people are tuning to watch Hopkins so they can get outraged. They tune waiting for Pricey to do something outrageous so they can be appalled or whatever. The ratings always go up when there is discord and scandal. That's why reality producers love professional fame whores like Hopkins, Price and Perez.......they know how to stir and cause conflict without technically breaking the rules but dancing really close to the line.

Haha, I did not even mean to change his name into a girls name... But it does make sense, he was all sensitive and emotional like a woman... Joke.

But in all seriousness, I get that it can be tough in the house, but Perez is just a typical windup merchant or troll... Surely they must know this

I spent the first week or so wondering who the Alexand-rah that all the housemates, and people on BOTS, kept talking about whenever he was mentioned. And then I realized it was Alexan-durr. I guess I'm just not down with my British pronunciation comprehension as much as I thought I was.

I think Perez has a quality that's less common.

A guy like James could be viscous and mean winding people up, but he paced it.

With Perez it seems inescapable. When he's not winding people up, he's doing the alternates of playing victim, or insincerely getting in your face to act like he's a friend or confidante. He's ALWAYS in your face with one of his roles, because of his constant need for attention.

And even when he's not in the same room as you, his voice seems to carry like a shrill alarm. You can hear his ****ing voice in the background of virtually every clip from the show, whether he's in shot or not. (and before we get into claiming that's because he's "American"... no... it's because he's a badly raised attention seeking ego monster).

I think what makes it worse is that after his out of order provocation of Alexander (standing directly next his bed and repeatedly coughing to keep him up is just downright despicable - and part of Perez's campaign to provoke Alexander) - and then tell Cheggers he wanted to leave, but he can't as he wants the money too much... so it looks like he's going out of his way to provoke others to leave with his actions, and then his pathetic "i'm not safe here" routine... and it will be no surprise if after getting the most nominations, the 'twist' will be that Perez gets to pick who to evict next... as BB seem to be working to his instructions.

I wouldn't mind so much but I really thought in the first few days he could be a really good (and not just negative) HM... and worse still, he's made the previously despicable Katie Hopkins come across as almost a nice person!!

Last year, Gary Busey was annoying to most of his fellow HMs, but was very popular outside (as many saw him as being picked on) - I don't think that's the case for Perez...

Na, Katie Hopkins is still vile. I actually liked her first, but shes just a bully who is doing everything she was previously against.

They're both 'bullies' and vile (or come across as such), but he's giving her the chance to win!

How do you know most of those people are damn liars? Everyone finds different things entertaining. People can be watching because they want to see some of the other h/ms and try and blank out Perez trying to make it the Perez show

Yeah right lol... It just so happens the ratings are sky high, because viewers want to see other housemates? No... I get that some people may not find him entertaining, but there are many people who think with their emotions and not their brains.

There's a difference between being entertaining, and just being pathetically controversial. Some find him entertaining - many don't.

Controversy can also co-side with entertainment. He is intriguing for a BB housemate...

Sure. In the same way a car accident is. Or a scumbag personal injury lawyer on a late night TV ad. Or a YouTube video of a man getting hit in the family jewels.

Perez is the only storyline of the series, says it all.

Today's episode was certainly an interesting one, Perez barely spoke and still somehow was the focus of the episode. Credit to Perez for being able to sit there and take all of the insults and blame aggressively put on him by most of the others. Maybe he has actually listened to Nadia's advice, for now at least... and he kind of rocked that princess outfit.

I'm beginning to find the treatment of Perez disturbing though, yeah he's annoying.... yeah, he's not innocent and has brought some stuff on himself and caused a bit of mayhem but that doesn't translate into deserving what's happening or justify it in my opinion. For all of Perez's faults i don't think he has been malicious, or cruel with his antics the way others have been.
