That I definitely agree with.
Watching him cavorting with a garden bench I don't find funny at all. But that in the context of the consequences it creates I do.

It was the juxtaposition of the dumb (even unfunny) stuff he was doing in the garden cutting back and forth between the ensuing mayhem in the bedroom which I found very funny.

This series has an actual story-line, it has plenty of psychological points we can analyse, and THANK THE LORD there is no showmance. I am not a fan of mindless argument, but this sure as hell is not mindless, this is just plain interesting to watch.”

But it is a low rate show, for washed up celebs. I would not take it too seriously.”

Going by your own way of thinking I must surely deduce that you subconsciously like Katie Hopkins?

People who find his disturbing and disgusting behaviour "entertaining" must be just as weird as he is. I think its a "takes one to know one" kind of thing and I'm sorry but I just don't get him or his apparent humour slash entertainment.

He is beneath contempt and beyond redemption

What does that make Katie and Cami-Li?

Yeah there are others in there with just as strong personalities in there but no one but NO ONE has EVER been as bad or annoyed as many HM's as Perez. He's on another level and not in a good way either.

Perez is causing everyone's moods with his antics. Just imagine the difference if he was evicted on Tuesday! The house would be so much better. That idiot Nadia would completely change and one of her two faces and everyone else would just be so relieved. The guy needs to go.

Who said I found it humourous? Not everything I find entertaining means I condone or "like" it. It just means I am interested in how his behaviour is responded to from the house... You know what a villain is dont you?

That's just it Lady*Tara...if I thought he was playing a game I wouldnt mind and would probably laugh but I actually don't think he is! I think he is being a typical "gay bitch" for lack of a better term (not derogatory) demanding attention and I think he's being himself.....which is utterly vile. The tears and the tantrums etc are not him playing a game....or at least I don't believe it is. He is ruthless and would clearly do ANYTHING to win! American mentality and functioning is completely different to the rest of the world!! Lol... "Where's my lawyer", "I fear for my life"....it's all rubbish. He's such a drama queen!!

I'll have to agree to disagree on that.

I could compromise to accept Perez being just as bad as Katie and Cami-Li which is difficult because i don't find Perez malicious and cruel like i feel Katie/Cami have been but i think i could find within myself an overall perspective that could see Perez/Katie/Cami being as bad as each other, however i can't accept Perez being worse than them.

I mean, i can accept that others might feel and think that but i can't accept that for myself.

If Perez was evicted Tuesday the only thing that would change is that the hate would be turned back onto Alisia, but the Tuesday eviction is canceled so what will happen? who knows.....

But this belies the opening post - we're not 'falling for it' any more than we're 'falling for' Katie H's nonsense. It's blindingly obvious that Perez is playing a game and it's bloody compelling. I am in awe, frankly.

I think he's tiring and predictable. I understand that people love the drama, and I understand that it usually makes for good television, but what he's bringing is just draining and irritating. He doesn't keep me on the edge of my seat, or laughing, or interested - he just makes me want to turn the channel.

You just don't understand American humor, then.

Sorry ... I had to use it. I've heard the reverse so often when an American doesn't find something a Brit does funny.

I find the humor not in his actions, though occasionally it can be hilarious in its insanity, but rather in the others' reaction to it. It blows their tiny minds.

He is entertaining in a hideous sort of way. I stopped watching BB years ago but am watching this series on catchup each day. It'll never be as good as it once was but CBB at least can be fun.

yes - he 'is' funny, they need to chill out and take him with a pinch of salt, and half of whats going on with the bullying element is because other housemates see him as the biggest threat - he may have said it but its true, its like gary busey last year, all the housemates hated him yet he was ultimately the most entertaining and endearing housemate

Maybe I am missing the humour then or more "not understanding it". Not sure if it's an American thing cos I didn't find it funny when Brit Freddie Star ate a live hamster on stage!!!!

Twisted Sadistic and Sick. American or not.

I genuinely, genuinely, GENUINELY don't find him entertaining.

A try - hard, attention seeking, vicious prick, yes. But entertaining? No.

It is more that he is "bizarre" than entertaining.

However, he is right, he is far more entertaining than Katie Hopkins. He doesn't have to think about it or write it first. It isn't always perfect but better than just an insult.

The ratings are NOT "sky high", btw.

Take that 'Imaginary Caffeine' dance in the bathroom that we were just subjected to there - do some people actually find that sort of shit entertaining?
