Didn't she suggest something about spitting in his water bottle.

I'm surprised Big Brother didn't warn her for that. It would be nice if they told her off in tomorrow's episode.

Her and her gang are trying to persuade others to exclude Perez. That is textbook bullying. Sadly a lot of viewers will overlook it just because they dislike him.

Also Alexander offering Perez out.
Was that really necessary?

Katie did as well, though hers was more vague. Cami's was specific about what she'd put in his water bottle. They really ought both to be warned, but probably won't be.

And yes, it's textbook bullying. But I'm not sure I totally mind it. Mostly because they just can't stop themselves from giving him the attention. It's funny to watch them have so little control over themselves.

Well you know she's Cuban...

Yeah, I know. It's no excuse unless your name is Tony Montana.

The housemates turned a blind eye when Alex was trying to cause a provocation. Luckily he just wound himself up in the end.

Perez was minding his own business but Alex was being very aggressive towards him.

Well lets not pretend Perez didn't spend days baiting people before any of this.

Perez seems like someone accomplished at pushing people to their limits, then acting surprised when they actually snap. Maybe in this instance it didn't happen when Perez was expecting it to, but Perez is no innocent victim, just because it happened on a slow burn for some of the people he's taunted.

Yeah, but it was all resolved the next day until Alex decided he couldn't let go.

That's because it obviously wasn't resolved for Alex. Just because everyone else excepted Perez behaviour and moved on doesn't mean he did or should have.

For a fight. Alexander said to Perez to come and have a go.
You'd have to fast forward to the bit I mean if you missed it.

Oh right. Yeah I saw that part, it was right before Perez went to the diary room to complain that he felt threaten.

BB used to cut in when things were starting to get a bit hairy in there.
Anyone remember when they called Razor Ruddock up to the diary room when he did something similar to what Alexander did in his series?

I'm not saying what they should or shouldn't do, but I do notice that in this series in some situations they appear to let things get to a point which is very risky.

Yes it was probably around that point. Unfortunately I haven't got the actual quote though. And I think it would need to be seen with the video for context as well.

Who knows, maybe in the missing bit in last night's show where some posters were curious as to why Alexander's exit wasn't shown in the HL show, maybe this had something to do with it? Not saying it was mind you.

I agree with you. Although I think that Perez was relatively well behaved in last night's show, and I did say 'relatively', Alexander was stewing. Getting more wound up, and more wound up, just basically winding himself up in his own mind until he eventually snapped.
I understand though, because I can sometimes be a bit like that.

That's a bit over the top especially when you don't see her every mover and word. She's been relatively calm during the last 2 highlight shows.

alexanders exit was shown. Plus the threats he was making couldnt be ignored. IT was driving him batty that perez was still walking around pretending everything was okay today.

i mean seriously, breatheing near the food>?

That's like saying "bring it on" and bumping chests. In this particular situation I can see why Perez was concerned for his safety. Even I could see that Alexander was spoiling for a fight and kept getting himself worked up even though he admitted Perez was on good behavior that day. Alexander worked himself into a frenzy and said enough to get kicked off imo ("get into his ass" and "come and have a go" and other threats).

Okay. I can't believe I just did this, but this is the text of Alexander's rant over the dinner:

[Nadia, Perez, Cami and Alicia are all standing around the cooktop. Katie P. and Alex are at the table.]
KP: Been a good day?
A: Nah, it's a shitty day. But I'm getting through.
KP: Why? Not shit again.
A: Nah, it's not shit again.
KP: Okay. I rest my case.
A: But I won't be eating any of that shit over there because I don't want Perez breathing all over my food and shit like that. I definitely certainly don't want any of his bird flu.
N: Come on, let's not. Let's not. Let's not argue. Come on.
A: Nadia, you're not the peace keeper for me. You keep your own peace.
N: I won't say anything.
A: Okay. You do your own thing.
N: Yeay, you're right. You're right. I shouldn't.
A: You shouldn't.
A: I don't want him breathing over my food. I don't want him breathing on my food. It's as simple as that so I'm not going to eat it.
C: [?]. You don't want him breathing on your food?
A: Yeah, I don't want him breathing on my food. It's as simple as that. What about that you don't understand.
[Alexander starts pacing, and breathing audibly.]
A: So you guys enjoy. Take your chances where you may.
[Perez leaves the kitchen area and goes towards the diary room stairs.]
A: Get in your ass so [?]. I will get in your ass so [?].
[Alexander starts dancing in Rocky fashion with his arms raised.]
A: What. What. [?] Bam. Boom.
[He turns toward where Perez went (though he's not seen on screen)]
A: Get some son. [grabbing his crotch] You want some son? Get some.
[Kav enters from the garden.]
A: Hey baby.
K: Hey.
[Alexander goes into the garden.]
A: F*** you. F*** you. F*** you.
[Kav returns to the garden.]
K: What's going on man?
A: Nothing. Perez.
K. F***, man.
A: F*** that bitch.
A: Don't want him breathing on my f***king food. Simple as that. Ain't no secret how I feel about him. I don't want to eat food with him breathing on my food. Simple as that. Is there anything derogatory or wrong with that? I don't want it.
A: Since Katie came in the house he's pretending like now all of a sudden he's the nicest guy. I'm so. Why couldn't you let us have that Perez all the time. Why did you have to do what you did.

There was more of him going on to Kav in the garden afterwards.

Really when I slowed it down and analyzed it all, It is a bit disturbing. Nothing was really inciting violence, but a lot of what he was going on about had sexual overtones. And all vaguely homophobic, in my opinion. I guess we can only be thankful that he said Bird flu and not AIDS ... because I wouldn't be at all surprised if that wasn't what he was thinking. Because the discussion afterwards with Kav, he's defending himself and saying nothing he said was derogatory. So he was thinking about it.

Or maybe I'm overthinking.

No it wasn't. We just saw a message delivered to the other housemates. That's not how they usually do it. We usually see a bit of discussion between the housemate and Big Brother. This was just a sudden announcement out of the blue.

Thank you for typing out the dialogue. I was also thinking he was worried about getting HIV (he can't be that ignorant) but then thought I was overthinking it. But there was something about what and how he said what he did that made me think that was what he was getting at. But at the same time I wasn't sure if he was calm enough (I think so) to substitute bird flu for HIV. Surely he can't be ignorant enough to think one can get HIV from breathing in the same room.

Like I said, I'm probably reading too much into this but he came across as very homophobic despite his explanation of why he isn't homophobic since he has gay family members and gay friends (hello, that doesn't prevent one from being homophobic). He seemed so agitated that someone flamboyant got the better of him the other day and now he had to "man up" and get all alpha male. Alexander really came off bad (totally homophobic).

I wonder if Perez knew about his homophobia or picked up on it and that is why he coughed near him at 6:30 am.

I hope you don't mind, but I copy/pasted this post into a thread(s) about alexander leaving since it is hidden away here in this Cami thread. I gave you credit and hope it is ok.

Cami Li is a horrendous little loudmouth.

Possibly one of the most charmless housemates in the history of BB. Quite an achievement.
