The fact that BB are not really doing anything about him must also be adding to the stress, so it's turned into the pack sorting things out themselves, after having been able to rely on BB to remove Jeremy and Ken. Plus, Alex just left, due to Perez, which has angered them deeply.

I think until someone has had a 'Perez' person in their family/space, they can't know how stressful it is to get zero space at all. It does bring up aggression, and I think the housemates are doing very well considering.

Yes, Alicia seems to have got in the firing line, and Nadia a little (although she is encouraging Perez wrongly), but, only regarding Perez, I think isolating him first is best. That's what I would do ... tell someone straight, then walk away. That gives the person time to reflect. Unfortunately if, like Perez, the person has no self reflection skills or interest in changing/being reasonable, that's when things amp up. In the real world, they're out. In BB, it must be hell.”

Perfectly stated...the one thing I must add is that there is no bullying going on in the house. Perez has acted like a total tw2t and there are repercussions to it - namely Katie and Michelle are going to keep approaching until he chooses to engage with them or change his own behaviour. As far as Nadia, she is also trying to make herself look as though she is somehow rising above Katie by not engaging...interestingly enough if she would simply sit and have a conversation with her it might be resolved. Nadia is indeed so absorbed in being anti Katie (not to mention not able to hold her own against her) she doesn't see that the way Keith has handled it is correct - don't like how Katie is handling it, tell her and clear the air between yourselves at least.

Oh, no. That can't be the case. She now claims (contrary to their conversation on the first night) that they were NEVER friends.

As for dealing with the bullies ... I'd like to see it acknowledged and disapproved of by the producers of the show. On BOTS or something. All they do is go on about how much they like the bullies. Sends a great message.

Because they are not bullies, people on this forum infuriate me more than that horrible human being aka Perez Hilton.

Perez is out there to deliberately annoy and for that he must take the consequences, if that is the anger of the people he is winding up then so be it. Bullying is seeking someone out for no good reason and making their life a hell, can you get that through your thick skulls

If I was in the house and a vile creature like Perez had forced a friend to walk out then I'd have the same attitude towards him. He's never liked a taste of his own medicine has he?

It very much is bullying and if people cant see that then I despair.
Whatever Perez is like it doesn't justify Hopkins following him round insulting him and insulting anyone who dares speak to him.
It is horrible and uncomfortable to watch.
They are worse than school kids on a playground.
How the hell have Hopkins and Cami Li not been given an official warning?

You can not like someone and not turn it into bullying. If I don't like someone I pretty much ignore them or speak to them as little as possible and keep my distance. There is definitely bullying going on . BB should nip it in the bud before it escalates to the point someone gets kicked out. When Perez stood behind the door next to Alexander's bed and kept fake coughing he should have been called to the diary room and then made to go to the snug for an hour or two. When Michelle's mean girls gang were being particularly nasty and bullying they should have had warnings, Katie H in particular. I know the word bully gets used a lot and it is not always the case but it's going on quite shamelessly in there.

Well, in the Asterix books the bard Cacofonix used to get tied up and gagged to keep him quiet, so I would apply the same formula to KH.

Perez knows exactly what he's doing. His whole career is built on a two way street of bile and hate which emanates from his blog. He's not being bullied; he's wound people up to such an extent that they've snapped and he's revelling in it. If they're calm - like last night when they said night to Alexander - he promptly pushes another button. Alicia is unfortunately a pawn in his game and has become subsequently caught in the crossfire. In my view, she's naive and doesn't see Perez's continual switching between antagoniser and 'victim'. I do feel sorry for her, though, as she shouldn't have to deal with the fallout. I think Nadia, on the other hand, would be able to see through Perez's game if she wasn't so blinded by her - not unfair - hatred of Katie. As he is the anti-Katie, she will support him whatever; to the extent that she nominated Alexander because of the tension between him and Perez almost, but not quite, overlooking that Perez was and is the centre of a lot of upset.

Thanks And I agree; it's Perez deliberately causing all of this, and Katie and Michelle have every right to come in strongly and challenge him about real change and consideration of others, ie to grow up. You're right about Nadia needing to sit down and talk things through more too, really honestly. Katie and Michelle are showing how clear rationale and strong action directly done cuts through a lot of cr*p, so she should pay attention to that. I think Nadia's out of her depth a bit; a learning curve for her too, if she would just sit down, sort things, and get a better bigger picture of what's going on.

yes, he's made a career out of winding people up, and is very obviously and deliberately doing that here. The other house mates must feel like they're drowning, and be desperate to get away from him. Really shown himself up, and I'm glad some of them are being very direct and assertive with him.

I agree that the treatment of Alicia has been bullying, but I do feel there's a fine line of directly telling the truth to somebody deliberately ruining everyone's experience, for the sake of fixing things for everyone (plus a strong lesson for Perez), and just starting on someone randomly and cruelly, as was done to Alicia.

Mario has not been bullied. Some people said some somewhat mean things to Alicia. Nadia inserts herself into everything and insists on making everything about her. None of them have been bullied. To suggest it negates actual victims of bullying.
