I reckon (a la Helen Wood) there is a lot of stuff (e.g. warnings) we're not being shown.

I must admit I laughed my bottom off at Perez stripping in the garden and the ensuing madness from the harpies, Keith's nonchalance etc, but if they're engineering making the final or even a win for him I think that's the end of BB for me after the Helen Wood fiasco.

Spot on for me - my instinct from the start of all this. They made a cosy deal that suited all concerned (not blaming Alexander for this - poor man needed out of there, and BB wouldn't have made it if it didn't suit them).

Perez should have been warned about his goading Alex that led to the word faggot. It seemed completely ridiculous that he wasn't, had it been a straight man goading a female in that fashion it would have resulted in a formal warning. For some reason BB are pussyfooting round him probably to avoid a lawsuit as Perez seems pretty clued up on legal arguments in DR. I believe he was warned about something early on but refused to accept it and carried on talking over BB, anyone remember?

It seems obvious to me that everything Perez does is to goad other hms to get an aggressive or inappropriate response. He's been claiming to be in fear of attack from other hms since day 2 or 3.

I appreciate it must be difficult for hms living with that prancing moron but I wish they could just ignore him and starve him of the oxygen (attention) he needs to thrive.

When Alex lost his rag on Saturday it was because Perez was supposedly breathing on his food/ Do you seriously believe that warranted a warning?”

I don't think it takes much imagination to come to the conclusion that Perez was continuously winding Alex up. The 'breathing on the food' incident was probably just the straw that broke the camel's back.

I think that would be the only way to control him in the house - and that is the reason why some cannot understand Nadia continuing to feed his exhibitionism? The less attention he gets, the sooner he may shrivel up and pass into obscurity! For that reason I also wish KH would ignore him - that would peeve him far more than her following him around, trying to tell him off! Just leave the individual alone - don't feed his hunger for fame.

Personally i am glad he's gone. He was acting like a petulant child on last nights hi-lights. What was all that cr*p about not eating food because Perez was breathing over it!? I found him boring and not entertaining at all.

Yes, it must be hard for them all living with Perez. In a normal situation, you can choose who you live with, you're not basically under house arrest and can walk away from irritating people. We all have to put up with idiots in life, often at work, but at least we get to go home in the evenings for some respite.

I can't imagine what it must be like when the only thing the other housemates can do is constantly move from room to be away from him, yet he follows those he is targeting or choosing to goad. And then he disturbs their sleep with his antics. Sleep deprivation leads to heightened irritability, so I can understand why some housemates have felt maddened by his behaviour.

It's like Perez starts off being mildly irritating, which people are initially able to ignore. Then he ramps it up until they start to take notice. Then he goes into full on goading mode, forcing a reaction out of them. By that point, he's under their skin, so anything else he does, no matter how mild it appears, is then a constant irritant.

His approach has been a masterclass in manipulation and he's one of those people who can cause mayhem even when playing by the rules. Were Kinga and/or Makosi ever warned for their sexual antics? I can't recall they were - BB seem to reserve warnings for what they deem to be unacceptable behaviour when people use taboo words, as Ken and Alexander did, and assault in any form.

I don't agree with Katie H's approach towards him either - she's fueling his behaviour. I know a lot of people have remarked that Calum, Patsy and Kav are 'sheep' as they've done little to intervene, but their approach of largely ignoring, but occasionally interacting with him seems to have warded Perez off them, so I would probably do what they're doing.

It's a shame Katie P wasn't able to just keep Perez in the gilded cage for a few days to give everyone a break.

im surprised at some of the hms lack of control the stuff perez is doing not even half as bad as i seen in previous bbs yet they all riot and leave, looking and smiling at you, breathing by the cooking? dancing in the garden with top of? come on.......calm down

I think Alexander leaving early was all part of his plan (or contract) when he entered the house. The series runs until the 6th of Feb but he has a concert in Liverpool on the 26th of Jan that is selling tickets at £25 each. He never had any intention of staying for the whole run, maybe he expected to be evicted earlier but with all the other drama that has been going on that didn't happen. That might be why they aren't showing what was said in the diary room when he left.

I'm sure that anybody that walks will get a pro rata payment for the number of days they have completed. They probably just won't get the full amount of the fee as they would if they stayed till the end or were evicttted by the normal procedure.

I do think there may well have been some kind of compromise agreement in this case though due to the circumstances. Basically they'll pay him more than they usually would for a walkout but he can't talk about it or go after them for damages later - ie something similar to a constructive dismissal case due to Perez's extreme provocation and BB not reprimanding him for it.

6:30 am is NOT the middle of the night

Perez hadn't done anything wrong the day Alexander lost it. Even Alexander admitted that before becoming delusional about "breathing on the food".

This time Perez had a right to fear for his safety. Alexander did want to hit him.

I'm glad boring Alexander is out of the house. I suspect Perez knew Alexander was a homophobe and/or get that impression from him so that is why Perez didn't like Alexander.

here is a copy/paste of EnricoIV's excellent transcription of the dialogue that was posted on a different thread:

Okay. I can't believe I just did this, but this is the text of Alexander's rant over the dinner:

[Nadia, Perez, Cami and Alicia are all standing around the cooktop. Katie P. and Alex are at the table.]
KP: Been a good day?
A: Nah, it's a shitty day. But I'm getting through.
KP: Why? Not shit again.
A: Nah, it's not shit again.
KP: Okay. I rest my case.
A: But I won't be eating any of that shit over there because I don't want Perez breathing all over my food and shit like that. I definitely certainly don't want any of his bird flu.
N: Come on, let's not. Let's not. Let's not argue. Come on.
A: Nadia, you're not the peace keeper for me. You keep your own peace.
N: I won't say anything.
A: Okay. You do your own thing.
N: Yeay, you're right. You're right. I shouldn't.
A: You shouldn't.
A: I don't want him breathing over my food. I don't want him breathing on my food. It's as simple as that so I'm not going to eat it.
C: [?]. You don't want him breathing on your food?
A: Yeah, I don't want him breathing on my food. It's as simple as that. What about that you don't understand.
[Alexander starts pacing, and breathing audibly.]
A: So you guys enjoy. Take your chances where you may.
[Perez leaves the kitchen area and goes towards the diary room stairs.]
A: Get in your ass so [?]. I will get in your ass so [?].
[Alexander starts dancing in Rocky fashion with his arms raised.]
A: What. What. [?] Bam. Boom.
[He turns toward where Perez went (though he's not seen on screen)]
A: Get some son. [grabbing his crotch] You want some son? Get some.
[Kav enters from the garden.]
A: Hey baby.
K: Hey.
[Alexander goes into the garden.]
A: F*** you. F*** you. F*** you.
[Kav returns to the garden.]
K: What's going on man?
A: Nothing. Perez.
K. F***, man.
A: F*** that bitch.
A: Don't want him breathing on my f***king food. Simple as that. Ain't no secret how I feel about him. I don't want to eat food with him breathing on my food. Simple as that. Is there anything derogatory or wrong with that? I don't want it.
A: Since Katie came in the house he's pretending like now all of a sudden he's the nicest guy. I'm so. Why couldn't you let us have that Perez all the time. Why did you have to do what you did.

There was more of him going on to Kav in the garden afterwards.

Brilliant post and I completely agree. KH is giving him the reaction he desperately wants and continuing to fuel his behaviour as he can now play the victim. They need to ignore his histrionics and treat him like a misbehaving child, only interacting occasionally when they have to. Perez needs attention like the rest of us need oxygen

I think Alex was getting to the point that he was afraid that he might physically lash out at Perez. He had already suggested that if this had happened outside the BB house then he would have dealt with the situation man-to-man, which has an obvious meaning.

One thing has occurred to me, and I may be barking up the wrong tree, is that the producers will do literally anything to make the show (more) entertaining. Does that include suggesting to Perez that he deliberately winds up housemates? If the money is right some celebs will do anything.

But Perez wasn't goading Alex for no reason. It looks to me like Perez knew Alex was homophobic and tried to goad him into showing it. Why on earth would you be so concerned about someone blowing kisses at you, coughing near you and most of all, breathing on your food? I'm watching Saturday's ep where Alex calls him a faggot and it seems very clear to me what Perez is trying to achieve. Sorry if I'm stating the obvious but people seem to be thinking Perez's behaviour is pointless, whereas I think Alex is homophobic and Perez knows it.

Totally agree with you on this,
Did they even show if he pressed to go to the diary room or was he called to the DR?
Why no footage at all from the DR?
And why did the relay a message from him to the housemates? I don't think this has ever been done before when a housemate has left.

From the HLs it's been shown many a time how Perez does things, tells bb and HMs that he is doing things to get reactions and smirks with glee when he's succeeded.

Is that why he did it to the fella that got booted and to Ken, Cami. Chloe, Katie... etc are they all homophobic? Pull the other one.

I'm not acting like I have been in there and have just provided a transcript that documents part of the show.

Intentionally coughing, funny dance simulating sex (one of the best BB scenes ever given the juxtaposition of the bedroom bitching), smiling and air kisses….I am surprised it is so bothersome. Personally I find Katie's verbal abuse and attempts at isolation (except for her so she can get airtime) more disgusting.

Bravo to Perez for exposing Alexander's homophobia!

Shame on Michelle for supporting the homophobic Alexander.

Macho bullshit.

Subtext: Wearing a dress or being overtly theatrical/camp = deserving of being hit. Again, macho bullshit.

I liked Alexander in the house to an extent but his faggot outburst and subsequent inability to just chill out and get on with betrayed a bubbling brook of homophobia under the gentle giant facade. It lost him a lot of respect from me. His failure to ignore a man in a dress was his issue, not Perez's.”

I agree I think he was offended by the gay approach from Perez no matter what he said in his own defence about having gay cousins etc... didnt wash with me at all... and I liked Alexander.. he went on about Perez breathing over his food when Keith had said that Alexander had a dirty habit of spitting into hankies and throwing them on the floor... whether this is true I dont know but a filthy habit if it is,,,. so him protesting about Perez near the food was strange ..
