I'm not stopping you am I?

How is she being a professional victim? This is some idea which has been contrived on here. She's getting on with things isn't she? And what do you mean 'someone else's fault'? What is it that she has done which you describe as a 'fault'?

Alicia also once bumped her head when climbing up to a bunk bed during a sleepover at a house in West Hampstead. If house mates know of this they should be ashamed of themselves.

Quote:
“Symptoms and effects of bumping the head can include: dizziness; confusion; problems with concentration; sleepiness; and sometimes even death”

She is in her own world, she does day dream, she does lack concentration when around people etc but that has nothing to do with that!

I love google spell check and correcter who changes everything for me id be lost without it ”

But it does.
Dyslexia isn't about an inability to read and write. It does have a lot to do with concentration problems. As another poster mentioned dyslexia covers symptoms which are variable from person to person.
For example a dyslexic may be excellent at spelling, which goes against the popularised myth.

I'm not a Katie Hopkins fan and i have never actually liked her. In the first week i was a fan without actually liking her but now i can't stand her because of her hypocrisy.

Erm I kinda know. I have poor concentration, so do things more than once, when I watch CBB or BB I miss things and come on here and I am adiment I am right until someone points it out to me from what I am told she can read and write to a basic level. The rest I don't know of. I have asked on here what level she is on the spectrum I am just above half way

Edit as things like this are good to know and are an inspiration to many who have a gift

No I don't know. I'm not labelling her at all. Listening to her she is articulate, has a very good level of awareness and insight. I could never say she is behind others if you are inferring lack of intellect. Yes she could be slower in absorbing information because of poor concentration and short attention span.. That is what the people who have talked about her have said, they find her "slow".

You know, I can see how this thread may become very problematic with several dyslexics responding to posts by each other. It will be like that group of narcoleptics who all fell asleep when they went to a narcolepsy meeting together.

Jesus H Christ..who gives a rat's ass if Alicia Duvall is dyslexic or not. What does it matter or have any relevance to her standing as a hm.

Lets say for the sake of argument that Alicia genuinely was thick. I would still find the attitude of those housemates towards her no less deplorable.
It's unnecessary, it's unpleasant, and I don't think it demonstrates that they themselves are very intelligent people. It's just another form of ignorance on their part.

I know you haven't said she is and are quoting what Hm have said. For me regardless what job she does, what hobbies or interests she has, personality wise she isn't someone I would hang out with, nor is Perez. I base this on personality wise. I have a friend who has tourettes physical and they start and stop a conversation when in tick mode, we get on great, like a house on fire. All I am meaning is, you either connect with a person or you don't regardless of what difficulties they suffer. Like attracts like. I know what I mean but I do struggle to get it across sometimes if house mates are unaware of her difficulties that isn't their fault. Lack of communication is but they don't get on so doubt they will ever have a conversation.

It's not surprising. The UK seem to love these types of people.

Nah I know what the host of the thread is on about I see her point of view.

It simple you either like someone or don't regardless of anything.

Being dyslexic doesn't mean the person is stupid, just that they have trouble reading.

No one in the house said she's stupid because she can't read (if she can't read, if she's even dyslexic ).

I think it bears relevance to the point being maintained that she's thick.

That is not all dyslexia means. Common misconception.

You're probably right. There will have been many wasted words written on this forum.

By the way, thanks for that link above.

No question about that at all. It's utterly contemptible behaviour from supposed adults.
