Deirdre Barlow was a well loved character those big glasses, big drama and big heart shewas a real Corrie Legend.

My favourite moment was the Gail Vs Deirdre bits and you can't beat her's and Blanches scenes were great too.

R.I.P Anne, will definitely be missed!

Truly shocking and saddening RIP Anne and Deirdre Barlow, an absolute legend and a great loss to Corrie - an icon. I loved Deirdre's "Ken, do something" and of course her scenes with Blanche were always priceless! Loved her scenes with Liz too back a few years ago x

Gail pieing Deirdre is one if my favourite ever Corrie scenes. Everyone's reaction as they try not to laugh is brilliant. And of course, "KEN, DO SOMETHING"

She will be sorely missed.

I absolutely loved the episode where Ken took deidre on a caravan holiday and she kept looking out the window and a sheep was staring at her, the camera kept panning to deidre and then the sheep just staring, deidre face made me laugh for days, she was a brilliant comic actress

Can't believe that both Maggie and Anne have gone

The Barlows are literally in tatters now.

Deirdre playing the Harmonica.
My youtube Holy Grail. Never managed to find the clip.

Mind you, this plot was the best:

RIP Annie you will be missed, my favourite Barlow scenes have to be the AA clinic but there are still so many to choose from especially between Ken, Deidre and Blanche.

Just rewatching the Barlows at the AA meeting - Deirdre is so good, almost on a par with Blanche.

When she awkwardly says 'Hi ... ... Ken' ... it cracks me up!

Not forgetting her stuffed marrow that was always so popular with her family

She's had so many fantastic scenes over the years (both dramatic and comic)but my first memory was the face off with the sheep last year! For some reason I found that hilarious

Oh and another one that's just sprung to mind was her ever so smug and pleased with herself face after she'd shagged Dev in the shop, it contrasted nicely with his quite horrified one

The glasses, the perm, the belts ... the stuffed marrow

I'm glad that looking back at some of Anne's work is making me smile now. I'm sure that would make her so very happy.
