I wasn't saying that at all. It was the adult thing to do after the disgusting juvenile goading of Hopkins the night before. She was spinning right out of any semblance of adult self control. Or is insulting, domineering and trying to goad anyone into a schoolyard cat fight acceptable behaviour?
So much of that part of the task was missed from the show and what was shown was, misrepresented as they often do. There was a lot of far more important stuff said than them choosing to show Pricey slapping self tan on people.
What better adult way is there to take the wind right out of Hopkins sails and stop that bit of her pathetic attention seeking behaviour?
The crowds attitude to Perez has nothing to do with anything. People being booed have gone on to win the show. Why forget this? Just because it was Perez?

She wanted to pass the task and get the luxury food. There's nothing wrong with that.

Unlike Hopkins responses with regard to '' words '' which she loves and the power that the use of them gives her. I would say it really is so very sad to hear some one speak so in awe of the power of words and yet only use them to hurt and defame groups and individuals instead of putting them to a use for good. Very sad indeed ”

Well said.

She knows that she is up for eviction and suddenly it dawned on her that she might have come across as a very negative, opinionated, misery - which she has. Funny, how one always changes tune when they are up for the vote.

So you don't believe her when she says she wants to go?

I'm sure winning or making the final isn't of any interest to her - she's served her time - I believe that (like a few of them in there) she wants out.

She doesn't want the beef, and also can see that Katie H has a lot of support from the majority of the house.

If you're gonna fight a battle, you always need to have a good chance of winning on paper - if the odds are stacked against you, then sometimes it's better to walk away.

She also has self respect too by the looks of it and clearly doesn't want to be seen engaging in shouting matches and brutal rows on national television.

If she wants to go there is nothing stopping her, except cold hard cash of course.

But Ken was an easy target, so she got stuck right into him - I assume that was a battle she decided she had a good chance of winning.

Obviously ......................that's why she went in.

She'd hardly walk after going through all the carp that she's done and come out with nothing.

She's made no secret of the fact that money was her motivation - she is well respected and has plenty of work - it wasn't a career move.

Yep, exactly that. She still gave Ken the time of day right until the very end though, until he dropped his final mega perv speech, just before getting chucked out.

She over reacted like an idiot about calling the police.

If it was a genuine plea from Nadia, and she is prepared to put aside her pre entering the house, pre determined Hopkins hate, and is genuinely looking to start with a clean slate, then fair play to her. To her credit, at least she admitted she was against her from the off and that it was unfair of her.

I am a cynical man at the best of times and suspect it won;'t last but I would be delighted for Nadia to prove me wrong. Perhaps a few other people will take a leaf out of Nadia's book on this too..

So money is more important to her than her integrity and dignity.

Oh well, that's Nadia for you.

I think her integrity and dignity remain intact. If she stooped to the level of Katie Hopkins she may have compromised them - it has been difficult being goaded etc. but under the circumstances I think she's done brilliantly.

No one has goaded Nadia at all, Nadia decided who to side with, Nadia decided to take it upon herself to be judge and jury and Nadia took it upon herself to make a false apology followed by a put down.

She had to crawl because it was taking her so long to come up with her "brilliant" Guardian "quip". I wonder how long it will take her to prepare the next one. Her bitching sessions in the toilet don't show much creativity.

If anyone watched the full clip they will see that Nadia didn't crawl at all. The first (and last I think) bits were cut from her speech. She told Katie in no uncertain terms that she objected being dictated to and being told who she should and shouldn't be friends with. She then went on to say that she really liked Perez and that he made her laugh but she constantly reprimanded him in private.

I thought it was rather odd that Katie and especially Michelle said that they wanted to see her reprimanding him

She ended by saying that it was time for a clean slate.

There was no grovelling - she laid her cards on the table in a measured and adult way without patronising anyone or stooping to a silly goading 'nagging' stance.

Nadia is a class act.

She is a fool, and both Nadia and Perez are far more intellectually capable than she is. They don't even need to rise above anything - they're just choosing not to lower themselves to her level.”

Sorry, but her voice never rises to the level of Perez's so there's one of your comments out the window...and as far as giving up in disgust - all they need to do is talk to her and 'engage' and she'd stop. Note how Cheggars did that - Katie said something about his treatment of Perez and Cheggars told her he was handling it and Katie let it go. The only reason she's chasing them around is because they do not have the courage to 'engage'. It's not a matter of rising above for either of them...they're cowards.

Wow...the shows they're showing on my TV must be different to the ones they're showing on yours. Alicia stands up for herself, but I wouldn't say she's overly effective doing so and I actually can't recall her coming close to wiping the floor with any of the HMs, let alone Katie H.

The thing with the BIB is that she hasn't had any real shouting matches. I do remember her going to Perez when he had someone in tears and shouted 'enough' to him several times, but it wasn't an argument. I haven't seen Katie H do anything more than talk to people...not sure where everyone is getting this whole thing about her having shouting matches all over the house.

I would absolutely agree with the self respect comment you've made - having said that you can engage in a conversation, even a heated one, and still not allow yourself to rise to the other person's level. Rows are only brutal if you participate - Jale was the perfect example when she was being battered at the beginning of her series. She was constantly attacked and she let it go time after time. Another personality may have allowed it all to go to the level of shouting levels.

What a cracking example .........I think Jale was pretty exceptional though TBH - her restraint was unbelievable.

I have no doubt that Nadia would rise to the bait and shout and scream - she has passion - she doesn't want to do that though.

She may use different language, but she can make equally strong points against people who openly patronise and undermine her. She stands up for herself even if she is in the minority.

Agree, Jake was brilliant. Nadia has taken the right approach in not getting involved in a useless slanging match.

I liked Nadia and was looking forward to seeing her, went off her very quickly. Now I'm on the fence. She's gone a little way to redeeming herself but not done enough yet.
