Brilliant put-down from Nadia, there. Katie was powerless to do anything but nod in deference to Rupert Murdoch, whilst Nadia attached herself to an objectively superior paper.

Nadia's been brilliant tonight, actually. She made in-roads demonstrating maturity and perspective. She's been pretty consistent in disallowing the parasite that is Hopkins the publicity she's desperate for and even in her peaceful tact managed to make mincemeat of her.

Nadia's great.

Both papers are a crock of shit. Neither came off well.

Funny isn't it, Nadia doesn't make a living out of having some 'perceived ' acerbic wit ... that's supposed to be Hopkins' bag

Yet it was Nadia who came up with the withering put-down ... whilst Hopkins can only regurgitate the small penis jibe ... over ... and over ... and over

I don't agree with your statement about the status of the newspapers, but really commented to point out that the papers are quite different from each other which is why the comparison is interesting.

How is that a "brilliant" put-down?

Hardly a brilliant put down but worthy enough of some praise

Nadia's well aware that The Sun and Hopkins are a great match for each other since they're at the same gutter level.

Terrible put down. The Sun is bad but The Guardian is no better, it is a left wing liberal newspaper, everything thats wrong with this country,

I don't think so.

A Guardian-reader is even more of a stereotype than a Sun reader.

On a side note, i also like her due to her sister from Pride and Prejudice. They have similar voices , laughs and smiles.

Well it was a tad more Groucho Marx than Hopkins' endless 'witticisms' about Perez's penis size

Even you must agree with that, surely ?

It's a great put down...the politics of both papers are irrelevant...it's a comment on the general perception of the intelligence level of their readership.

With her overly inflated opinion of her own cleverness, it must grate on Katie Hopkins to write articles for people who mainly buy the paper to exercise their wrist muscles behind toilet doors, people that I doubt she really has much respect for or would like to socialise with.

Nadia was rubbing her face in her hypocrisy....nice one Nadia.

So it's okay for Nadia to put people down? but not Katie H? isn't that double standards? or is it because one delivered it differently?

Nadia is no different that Katie H but she can appear worse, Nadia has been telling people what to think/feel/say/do/act etc to most house mates, Katie H hasn't. She has been confrontational with Perez and told Nadia what she thinks etc but she hasn't been controlling over the house and other house mates. Like Nadia admitted she was in the wrong and walked in with thoughts/opinions etc on how people were on the outside so never gave certain ones a chance! but she has realised she has been wrong, she was judgemental etc so to me it was a confession of how wrong she was and that she needed to change. Katie H cannot take anything positive or nice being said to her, that is very strange for a grown woman unless something in her past has made her put up a very strong wall surrounding herself. Either way, a put down is a put down, but it's always okay one certain house mates do it, but not others. Oh I have no favourite before someone says I am a fan of Katie H.

I thought it was a failed attempt at humour from Nadia - and immediately undid any good she might have hoped would have come from her apology to Katie.
What a shambles

Nadia envies Katie, who earns far more than she could ever dream of. The hypocrisy of her rehearsed put down (take a look at who she has been paid by) reinforcers just how lost she is in her own righteousness.

You must have missed Hopkins rage at Nadia for daring to do the "WRONG thing" in daring to speak to Perez as the rest of the morons form a pack to ignore him..Apart from Hopkins herself of course as she sees it as the perfect opportunity to attain air time by getting the "nasty man"

pffft. Typical illogical post from a Hopkins supporter.

If Katie H (or Perez for that matter) just put people down occasionally, rather than make a living from constantly criticising others and kicking people when they are down, then we could start shouting about double standards when they get a bit of what they constantly hand out back.

Isn't this about Nadia? isn't that the title of the thread? huh? how she put down Katie H? two wrongs make a right? and mmmmm I would throw a come back at you about the support part but obviously you never read my whole paragraph and missed the last part? as for the calling the house mates morons then why would I take anything you say seriously and listen to your debate/point of view, when you obviously enjoy putting others down, just like Nadia, Perez and Katie H? so when you have something worth saying I shall read/reply.

So the put down was okay at that moment in time, but it's not okay from making a living? thought Naida made a living from being opinionated on Loose women? saying what people do/say/did/ etc was right or wrong? or is it in the deliverance. Personally I think all three are in the wrong. Two wrongs do not make a right, regardless of the deliverance, the person. I am judging how people conduct themselves in the house, not from outside the house.

The only thing worse than a Hopkins fan is a closet one. At least be proud and own it. I call the other HM's morons because they're clearly exhibiting behaviour that's worthy of it. People can knock Nadia all they want but she happens to be the most decent, rational person in amongst that rabble.

Throw her out for being sunist and generalising there readership
hopeless case

I thought it was a very nice speech by Nadia. I don't think she intended the line as a put down. Guardian readers have long passed the point where they actually believe they are perceived as being great thinkers. They know full well that the Guardian has become click bait, that it is looked down on for containing blinkered liberal views and that it is to the popularist left as the DM is to the right.

Doesn't KH write for the Sun? Nadia probably knows that.
