For me, the comment does neither of them any favours - both newspapers are laden with editorial spin to appeal to the readership.

Aren't all newspapers in some shape or form.

I thought it was a snide dig at everyone who reads the Sun actually and not just Hopkins - whether or not she meant it that way.

The Sun's demographic and the general BB demographic are very similar, so in effect Nadia was insulting the very people she would like to vote for her.

Yes. It's just some rely on more spin than others don't they? Some are almost fairytale.. Which brings us back to the CBB theme ahem!

I thought it was a great put down considering KH was boasting about loving words and the power it gives her to use them... And writes a column in The Sun.

I guess so - but I certainly don't feel either paper mentioned has a monopoly on making its readers feel smug..

I would think the Loose Women audience has a similar demographic too, particularly as Denise Walsh won.

Well Liverpool has a high unemployment rate ( One of KH's 'targets' ) and most refuse to buy The Sun, so bang goes her support from this demographic.

Huh?

Are you on about Hopkins's support? I'm talking about Nadia's.

It's spelled 'pretentious'.

I thought it was a witty comeback, one that Katie would have appreciated (through gritted teeth).

No surprises there. Everything about Nadia just screams 'I am a guardian reader'.

Sung to the tune of 'I am a Cider Drinker'?

And that comment leaves me to conclude.. You read..

Keep the labels coming..

Actually for what it's worth. Nadia does to take being liberal to the worst place. But come on.. Ain't nothing wrong with the Guardian. Some really great journalists/journalism. Have a read sometime!

Yeah but nob jokes are funny.

Yes spoilt her previous statement.

NB Does Nadia have a column in the guardian?

Hardly a comparison.

Nadia might get an advertising deal with 'Tetley', but who would want her words of wisdom? Liked her when she went in, but gosh, her negativity and patronisation, leave me walking out the room to make a cup of coffee, when Nadia get airtime. She knows she has done herself no favours going with Perez, hence the truce with Katie H.

Nadia is desperate to win and she might think that she is the better person, a 'Guardian' reader, however 'The Sun' sells more copies. How much does 'The Sun' pay Katie Hopkins for her column and how much does the 'Guardian' pay Nadia to read its pages?

Nadia, another home goal, you have just insulted many Sun readers who are also happy to vote for the Big Brother folks. No doubt you will be expecting them to finance an article by you, if nobody else comes to your rescue. It is, the same with the Daily Mail. It is so funny, the Mail pay the best for a celebrity interview, which is not lost on the lefties that despise the Mail, but queue for their cheques. She might have insulted the Sun reader, but no doubt the Loose Women PR Management team are working hard to keep her in.

Nadia's intelligence (as proven with her idolisation of Perez), appears not to know the difference between reader and paid columnist.

It has nothing to do with the political stance of the newspaper and everything to do with the reading levels and interests of the readers, otherwise she would have used The Mail and The Guardian.

I doubt Nadia would care. Unlike Katie H, she doesn't seem the type to ar*elick the sort of people she would not otherwise want to be associated with just for a big fat cheque or to win a gameshow.

I mean, does anyone really believe Katie H has any respect for Sun readers herself?

Absolutely. It's one of my favourite quotes so far from the series.
