I'm not rally sure why people are perceiving nadias comment as a 'put down'.
I perceived it as nadia simply illustrating to Katie that even though they will attempt to get along in the house, they will always be very different people.

Where you see maturity and perspective, I see a huge climbdown as she finally realised that she is alone in her support and liking for Perez and risks being alienated by fellow HM's as well as the viewers because of her unerring support of him. Drastic action required....hmm may have to rethink my strategy!
I also fail to see any maturity or perspective in the way she dealt with Ken, goading him and the reviling him as a rapist for looking at females arses ~ then screaming "call the police"

Hmm, not for me. The old 'you only read the read tops so I will look down my nose at you and pour scorn on you' mantra is a pretty basic and hackneyed one.
It also makes the pretty ludicrous assumption that this would be Katie's paper of choice as a reader when i'd say it's far more likely she'd be a Telegraph/ Times or FT kind of person. I'm not a red top reader but she is also insulting and assuming she is 'better than' thousands upon thousands of working class folk.
When she works on perhaps the worst kind of trash of a show aka Loose Women, it's a bit rich to play the superior card when it comes to which newspaper people read.
Lastly if Katie Hopkins said that kind of a line to Nadia or worse the forum victim Alicia, we all know all hell would break loose on here and the mud would be flying before you had a chance to say boo to a goose.
A bit of consistency wouldn't go amiss from time to time.

Agreed re if Katy said a similar line to Nadia. I thought Nadia thought she had the moral high ground but a cheap stereotyping line like that just highlights a little bit of hypocrisy yet again.

I don't want to get too political, But I think its quite common (although not necessarily accurate) for people to associate the Left with Good, compassion and love, and the Right with Evil, Greed and hatred.

She presents on Loose Women so she doesn't really have a leg to stand on when it comes to slagging off whole demographics/ readerships/ viewership of anything else, given how they behave on that show, what they stand for and much of the subject matter.

And why exactly should Nadia not hold to her original opinion especially has Hopkins has compounded it with her words and behaviour? The point is she was willing to start afresh....unlike Michelle for instance who also admitted to hating Perez for what he had done on the outside but was not willing to let it go.

I am no supporter of Katie, but neither do I like or support Nadia. She has been a disappointment from day one, and has just realised how she is being perceived - hence the 'apology' to Katie, albeit part of a task.
It is noticeable on this forum, that should one be brave enough to criticize a housemate, it is automatically presumed you 'must' be a supporter of either KH or Perez. How about we are just allowed to make note of our likes/dislikes without having labels attached?
