bullshit bullshit bullshit. You clearly haven't watched that documentary she did with her daughter.

And please don't compare people who have actual real disabilities to this failure of a human being.

This is a woman who took her daughter out of her exams to babysit while she undewent surgery. And now she thinks she capable of home schooling a child?
She doesn't value education in any way (check out glamou model mum, baby and me) so thinks it's a bit of a laugh now to either learn her shapes or to pretend that she doesn't know shapes.

Oh, wind your neck in, a person with "learning disabilities" should not be professing to be a home schooler! She doesn't seem to have any disabilities when it comes to talking bullsh*t!”

I don't know anything about Alicia, but in general there are many dyslexic parents who successfully home educate, and also many dyslexic teachers at schools and colleges.

Alicia's daughter is only three, and doesn't need to be in school or educated otherwise until the school term after she is five, so maybe Alicia just means the normal things every mother teaches their child?

Not everyone gets off to the same start in life. The fact that she saw the conversation with Katie H as 'a good conversation' just goes to show she has no awareness.

I'm aware, but i know enough about Alicia to know that she's playing up her stupidity.

Having a difficult life has no real relevance on knowing your shapes. General intelligence and other things? Sure. But she's shown enough wiliness in the past for the alarm bells to start ringing.

Maybe she had a drink to give her some "Scotch Courage" to do the alphabet

As a teacher of 6-7 yr olds , I can tell you that around 5 kids in every year group of 30 didn't know all their letters. There are many reasons for this-dyslexia isn't normally recognised until 8-9, A common reason is parents teaching ABC instead of lower case with sounds first which then has to be unlearnt as it confuses the child. Another reason can be that they need to learn in a different way. A good teacher will recognise and address this. Others reach 7 and suddenly everything clicks into place.
Parents teaching kids is wonderful but seek advice first Alicia

Why didnt she learn with her first child. It is ignorance to have two kids and not learn your shapes or alphabet if you have the mental ability to do so, which she does cause she is learning now. Good for her for doing it but she has a kid over 18- poor girl.

Same here, teaching her older daughter that she has to behave like her to get anywhere in life and telling her that she can have a boob job if she wants at 16 ! Damaged, yes she is, and she's going to pass it on to those two poor kids it seems. She's playing a blinder in there it seems, and she's fooling all those that didn't watch the program about her.

I would agree to a point, but remember, there are plenty of kids out there being brought up in awful homes. In comparison, Alicia seems the loving mother type, so they will be just fine I'm sure.

And shockingly it always works. I don't understand why the UK love these types, i can't stand them. Being stupid shouldn't be encouraged.

Seriously what is going on with some people ?

The woman was trying to push her daughter into getting plastic surgery since she was a kid. What mother would do that ?

Pretty much, yeah. I seriously doubt any of the current pity party brigade in regards to Alicia have actually watched it.

Dyslexia is not stupidity, although I suppose stupid people get it as well as geniuses.

It would surprise you. My neighbour's son started school aged 5 not knowing any colours, letters of the alphabet, shapes etc . My other neighbour's child was still struggling to read two years into school. Their parents felt it was the teacher's job to teach these things, not them.

There is no proof that she has a mental disability at all. Watch the show about her trying to push her daughter into plastic surgery. She isn't ill, she is just selfish.

And i never said Dyslexia was making her stupid either, i just said that she was stupid, nothing to do with Dyslexia.

So far we have had people saying she was abused, has dyslexia, has a mental illness, has Body Dysmorphic Disorder, Anorexia, what next ?

It seems like some people think that she has everything wrong with her.

Interesting that some people have a problem with Alicia in the documentary but no problem with some of the disgusting things Katie Hopkins has said in the past. Or Jim Davidson from the past series.

I haven't watched it, but I still recognise someone who is acting thick when I see it. What makes me laugh are all the posters who are calling me out for being harsh on some poor unfortunate soul who is intellectually challenged (allegedly) who is being paid mega money to appear on a show which is meant for entertainment. And boy does Alicia know how to entertain, she not nearly as green as she's cabbage looking to coin an old phrase. Anyone could be forgiven for thinking we were watching a bleeding heart documentary on dyslexia instead of Celebrity Big Brother with some of the reactions to my OP

According to this link, her schooling explained :

LOVE Island contestant Alicia Douvall has revealed she does not know the alphabet because she is dyslexic.

The blonde was branded Britain's dimmest celebrity after failing to recite her A to Z, muddling the letters G and J during one of the tasks on the ITV show.

Covering up the condition, she told other contestants: "I've never needed my alphabet - I can do the splits."

Now the 27-year-old single mum has put down her failure to dyslexia, which she says went undiagnosed by her posh Surrey school and was dismissed by her father as a "bull disease".

She said: "The school didn't understand dyslexia at all - they branded me thick. So I was brought up to believe I was stupid."

Alicia, who has had six breast enlargements, three nose jobs, liposuction and a tummy tuck, was expelled from school at 15.
