I thought Mothers were given childcare vouchers? I guess that would be too common for Alicia though - she strikes me as someone who wants her child to go to private school.

Doesn't she live in Fulham or Chelsea, - must be state nurseries somewhere near there ! Guess it's private or nothing then. If Alicia's homeschooling,by the time the child's 5 she'll know more than Alicia.

Three and four year olds get fifteen hours a week free child care.

Her idea of "poor" and a normal persons idea of being poor are miles apart.

She may be a single mum, but she isn't exactly living in a council flat on benefits....

She's probably slumming it on more money from her trust fund than most ordinary people would earn in a year.

Alicia, I think she's nice but stupid and honestly can't see what she would have to offer the world when she leaves the house.”

She could get a job on Play School or Sesame Street, now that she knows her shapes and alphabet.

Yes I think she is although sometimes those that come out before the end appear to get more time on our screens. I am a little confused with Alicia - she comes across quite unintelligent especially last night while talking about shapes and alphabet. However in the diary room she seems more than normal some of the ways in which she describes her feelings or people are not coming from someone who only learned her alphabet in the last three years. Did I misunderstand her last night? I am sure she thinks this little girl lost look is cute. Also I think she has stepped up her game we did seem the breasts last night, I don't think she is daft at all.

At 3, every child in England gets free childcare vouchers supposedly the equivalent to 15 hourS a week depending on how the nursery does it.

Saying you home school your child at 3 is ridiculous anyway. No child goes to school at 3. Why doesn't she just say she can't afford to send her child to nursery or daycare?

15 hours work a week is hardly going to pay enough.
