Almost anything (and perhaps everything) she does is twisted by some into a negative. She's also on a lose lose type thing with some viewers- 'If she confronts someone she is a bully, if she doesn't she's a 2 faced coward who can't say things to people's face after all' type of thing.

To answer the original question I believe the reason some people seem obsessed, is because she's such a polarising character, and some of the CBB viewers can't help but fully buy into the panto villain stuff, whilst exaggerating it to the Nth degree to make it fit their pre-determined narrative.

Her becoming popular, hasn't exactly gone down well with some, which results in even more anti Hopkins stuff hence the rather large number of posts/ tweets etc on her.

Interesting view....did you know Alicia went to the moat expensive boarding school in england ? That would lead me to believe she comes from a rich family. Alicia has made an offensive misuse of a word tonight whilst talking about KH being offensive. She also called KH ignorant however makes a number of comments about mental health that are very ignorant. I suppose it depends on your viewpoint. I don't think anyone that speaks properly and got a better education than me is rich. I am also more aware of issues for others i don't juat worry about what affects me so I am more aware of what may offend others.
