When Sumvision Cyclone is connected via HD there is no sound, have two and both the same.Swapped HD leads, cyclones fine on 3 other TVs presume its a setting problem but the Toshiba audio menu seems limited,is there anything in the graphic equaliser I cant find or is it just faulty if so it is new and under warranty

I doubt very much it's 'faulty', presumably the Sumvision is using some mode that the TV doesn't support?.

I would start off by investigating what audio format the Sumvision is feeding to the TV. If there are any options available try setting to PCM Stereo as that should be understood by everything.

Also if you have some other device (eg a DVD/Blu-Ray player) with an HDMI connection try that on the TV, again setting it's audio output to basic PCM stereo, and see if you get audio from that.

If nothing you connect to the TV produces any audio (and assuming it's not something silly like volume controls set to zero ) then the TV is suspect number 1. However if a disk player, for example, produces audio but the Sumvision does not then the Sumvision must be the suspect.
