I don't think her inclusion has really much of an impact either way. I don't think she's made any oarticular positive impact, but I also dont think the toning down of the drama since her arrival was anything do with her either.

I do think Perez stopped his antics because of Katie Price. He knew her before, so either he admires her too much to make a show of himself with her in, or he's scared of her and so calmed down. The other HM's also - nobody was allowed to be mates with Perez, remember the big ding dong at Nadia and Alicia? Then Katie comes in, she talked Perez into staying, let him out the cage etc, and they daren't go against her. Interesting power she has there, I wonder if it will change?

I wouldn't say best at all, think its the worst lineup yet to be honest. I did give up on it totally though when Jordan walked in. Katie Hopkins too just does my nut in, can't watch until they are evicted but its looking like the public love KH so not much hope there.
Personally I'm bored with her already. Since she went in everyone has calmed down (even Perez) and I'm sick of hearing about her talking about sex and boob jobs.

He stopped because of the Get Perez out chants. They really shouldn't hear what the outside think of them because it then skews their behaviour. Same with Katie Price telling them how they where being perceived - she should have been punished for that.

How many of those extra viewers, were Katie P. fans, who couldn't give a toss about BB any other time? And I bet a few were Katie H. haters who tuned in to watch the orange queen of chavs, sort her out. That worked out well.

Usually viewers deteriorate after Friday, but it remained steady and has remained steady all week, meaning people staying tuned.
I agree with this, the series would have been one of the best ever if not the best until she arrived. She's ruined the dynamic o the house, Perez is more controlled with her there. Plus she adds nothing in terms of drama. Just a series of monotonous sex chats.

I don't hate her- but I dislike her for what she puts out there, not the media or the exes - her. Her immature tweets, her books, her interviews, her papped shots of the kids with Alex 2 months after she had split with their Dad.
One thing about The Pricey ( God I hate that lol ) is that if a magazine or paper prints anything untrue about her, she's right on Twitter or getting an apology printed if it's untrue. So I don't believe the media has made me dislike her, the only person who has done that, is her.
I don't understand the reasons for putting Katie into the show in the first place on both fronts. Firstly in regards to production the show was firing on all cylinders and even at an early stage dynamics had formed and people had picked sides and whilst it may have got tired quickly the show hadn't reached that stage. Adding Katie in not only changed the dynamics it also created a situation where people don't fear her because of her knowledge of the outside and star power, and as people have mentioned ended up uniting the group around her. It's almost like on Wacky Races where Dick Dastardly had the best car, would easily win but ended up needlessly setting up a trap which would instantly backfire.
From Price's point of view it's also a mistake, Katie IMO has so much star power and her fee is so high that she could afford to have the entire series built around her in the same way that Rylan and Jim did in their respective series, so if she were to hold off until the summer series she would not only boost the summer series ratings but also probably have a cast built around her as the big name. Instead she is competing for airtime in the Hopkins vs Perez feud and Alicia's underdog story, and when all she seems to be resorting to right now is recycled and tedious kiss and tell stories she'll never win that battle.

She's on a similar spectrum as the hop and Perez and many others in terms of lack of empathy. Self serving, cruel and oblivious.
She actually makes Hopkins look like she has class.
