Being out of contract from 20th Dec....I decide on PAYG with iphone4s...tied to 02

I'm retired don't go out much so don't need much data as this comes from my home internet......would never use all these 2000 text 500 mn calls offers....

I bought a PAYG sim from 02 £10 with the above deal - but used hardly anything from it when at the end of the month they cut me off because I hadn't paid another £10. Surely this isn't PAYG but contract....- If ya don't use it ya lose it .!!!....I was furious but had to pay another £10 to get back on line

Any ideas as to what is my best option would be appreciated...I'm getting the phone unlocked so can change my provider .......ty

If the iPhone is unlocked give Three's 321 pay as you go plan a try. Sounds like it'd suit your needs.
