Round 2 Group 2 Results
1 = Grace Black = 18.47%
2 = Maxine Minniver = 17.68%
3 = Nancy Osborne = 14.72%
4 = Jason Roscoe = 12.89%
5 = Leela Lomax = 12.72%
6 = Tony Hutchinson = 11.93%
7 = Patrick Blake = 11.59%
As I’ve said before; what a difference a year makes! Last year Grace was eliminated in Round 1 and finished in 41st place; this year she tops a second round group and by quite a way too and shows just how likeable the character has become. By stark contrast; last year’s winner Nancy finishes in 3rd place after struggling to really garner support, she received a mid-vote bump in top places which sees her clear Jason, Leela and Tony to claim 3rd place. Compared to last year however, it is a poor showing for the character and probably signals a new winner will be crowned this year. Meanwhile Jason, Leela and Tony all jostled for the last spot; Leela and Jason have been swapping in the vote throughout and in the end Jason finishes 2 points in front of Leela to claim victory. Patrick finishes in last place and along with Tony and Leela are eliminated from this year’s competition; Tony becomes the first casualty of last year’s top 10 (apart from Mercedes… however as she is no longer there was never in the running anyway!).

Voters simply have to rank the characters within each group, (1 being favourite, 7 being least favourite) – you favourite will receive 7 pts, 2nd place 6pts etc etc until 7th place will receive just 1 point.
After the voting period has finished (3 days) – the 4 characters with the most points will progress to the next round. The remaining 3 characters will be eliminated. A new Group will be posted after each 3 days containing the results of the previous group.
