Can you buy more data with EE or are you simply left without mobile data until your next billing cycle?

They are cheaper because you are on a little known MVNO (who probably get much lower priority on the network), don't get 4G and can't tether.
Well, NOW are comparable to the type of speeds I was getting on Three's LTE service, plus I'll now have the added benefit of having a fallback when I'm out in the sticks. These speeds are more than enough to do streaming from the likes of Spotify etc. Just what I need

NOW PAYG H/H+

Thats autocashback. Meaning you get it as soon as you order (within 90 days, and thats it).

With the £156 cashback you have to claim at specific intervals.

The way I do it makes it £14.99 p/m over the course of the 12 months.

Doesn't mention any other cashback there at all? Am I looking in the right place?

If this cashback works then it's a better deal than the one I wanted to go on : unlimited mins and texts 2gb data for £12.99 a month from ee stores

Normally you can buy more. Strangely I think there is a bug as on the 10GB SIM only plan (£27/m) I'm only offered 100mb for 24hrs for £1.99 if visit the web page as if I had run out of data. (http://add-on.ee.co.uk/purchase - only if you're on EE network).

I see it now. I was looking at the auto cashback deal. The £156 is in middle of the page. Very very tempting but my work sim is on EE and the fastest I get is 4mbps in the evening which is still faster than Three.

Out of interest how much does the EE extra add on increase the speed by and is it included in this sim.

That's no bug. That's the only option on Sim Only I'm afraid.

That is odd. When I was on the 4GB sim only plan, there was 6 options, including 1GB for 7 days.

I've already got a nice contact at the exec's office about why SIM only is such as strange product to the handset subsidised offers. Why they can't be the same, as its cheaper for EE to not have to supply a phone.

The earlier sim only plans had all the data add-one available. Since the plan refresh a business decision was made to only offer the 100MB daily bundle.

Weird to not have a product at any price, could be punitive. mbb does though. (Why not take my money?!)

Just proves that to EE exec's the sim only product is a "second class" citizen. I'm very unlikely to use all my 10GB, only got it just in case. Normally use around 4.5GB a month.

Given people are unhappy at Three's changes, why not exploit that? They all have unlocked phones, so could move to EE SIM only - but those that are used to AYCE won't know how much they actually use. So they'd likely buy 10GB and then want to 'add on' more if they run out. I think EE missed a trick here.

There's a change in February anyway that's been publicised in the past on here... Might be changing anyway?

Ah but perhaps EE aim this at customers with more money than sense who use all their data in the first 10 days and then pay £2 per day for the next 20!
Perhaps ex O2/VOD customers who are distracted by the fact they actually have a 3G signal now!

Ahh nice, me and the missus have signed up this month!

The 10GB will stay for the remainder of the term correct?

Ahh, that explains why a press conf on 2nd Feb could be to launch new 2015 price plans. We can hope that a 10gb plan says and maybe others. (e.g. a 5gb, a 7gb, and a 15gb).

You'll keep it for as long as you stay on that tariff.
